Whoa!! That was a bit harsh, don't you think!?! Please understand that a lot of these ladies have been here for a very long time, establishing a bond! Ashie0610 even stated in her post "no offensive, I've been there too"! Just sayin!!

I volunteer and would like to be paired (if possible) with a non-lurker, or a lurker who intends to begin posting.  I'm more than happy to be @ashie0610 's partner if she is currently unpaired.

Dude, many of use have been here since the beginning of the year and have shared a lot with one another.  The internet is a creepy place and she just was stating that she was not comfortable being paired with someone she "knows" zero about.  It is called stranger danger and it is real.

No need to get all huffy...you have 2 replies.  Be more active (we were all "new" once) and maybe you will have better luck next time.

Aw, thanks @golfingdarwinfish!  Works for me and our due dates seem like a good match too.

@alaxisG01 - No need for name calling. I felt really bad even bringing it up, but I know literally nothing about you except for the fact that you created an account on Friday.  Being a "lurker" isn't necessarily a bad thing, by the way.  I lurk on other boards sometimes too, many of us do.  It just seems weird to pair up with a total stranger for something like this.

Lurker is a generally accepted term for someone who hasn't posted much.  It isn't a bad thing, it is even encouraged to LURK a little before you start posting.  Try it.

And get over yourself.

Geez. Calm down. It's really not that big of a deal and especially not enough of a deal to be calling someone names. Pretty sure calling someone "ass hole" is MUCH worse than being called a "lurker". Just saying ...

Wow, she was really nice to you and you were nothing but completely awful back.  Honestly, I would have done the same thing if I were her, I almost didn't sign up for Labor buddies anyway because I was on the fence about possibly exchanging phone numbers, etc.  Yes, the idea of the site is to make new friends, but you don't go around saying "hi! we're both pregnant, let's exchange info and let each other know when we go into labor!"  You interact with people first and get to know them a bit.
