Wine during 2WW?

I'm in the 2WW and usually I avoid alcohol, but I'm dying for a much needed glass of wine. I don't have a very positive feeling that this will be my month but I always worry about every little thing I do during the 2WW. Does anybody drink wine during 2WW? Or should I avoid it to be on the safe side?

I drink during the 2ww. I mean, not excessively, but I would have a couple of drinks. I start testing pretty early though (around 10 DPO).

I'm only 7 DPO so it's really too early to test. I'm talking like a glass of wine, I'm not a heavy drinker, but I could use one tonight, it's been a week.

The umbilical cord forms in the 5th week of pregnancy, so drinking during the TWW serves no danger to any potential baby. Wine-away

So last time me and DH were in Seattle he told me to go see this tarot card reader (she was at a store at pikes place) and we went together. She looked at us and said I don't know where you to are at right now but I see you having twin boys or a boy and then later a girl...

So I made the siggy after that cuz I thought it was cute.

I avoid alcohol (&.caffeine) during 2WW for peace of mind. But there definitely have been some times when I was dying for a glass of wine!! We live very close to Napa and are wine club members at one of the wineries. Whenever I've heard an official BFN from the Dr though, I've always told DH to open one of our good bottles ...and we end up finishing it! LOL

I don't change my drinking habits during the 2WW since I'm not pregnant during that time.

For the first year of TTC I was a good girl and didn't drink during the TWW. Then after that I said "screw it" and went back to my old winey ways.

Wish I had read this thread before! I'm in the 2ww and had a work dinner last night. I opted not to drink, so hopefully it didn't raise any eyebrows. The dinner was with a group of men, who are probably less perceptive to a woman not drinking at least!

I don't drink often, and although I probably tend to drink somewhat less in the second half of a cycle, I don't really worry about 2WW or follicular phase. I think if anything, there may be more effect on our bodies as we develop follicles vs. affecting a floating embryo. But don't quote me on that.
