Welcome to Ladies In Waiting. This is a group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for a BFP. Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions. 

-Check in is every Thursday - New members: Post an intro and your current TTC status. - Current members: Post updates, link to your chart, upcoming appointments, prayer requests. - Weekly check-in's will include an inspirational quote or verse and a question of the day (QOTD).

Please do not worry if your name is not on the check in, I only put those that participated in the previous check in. Please make sure that if you get a BFP to PM me. I try to check PGAL, but sometimes I may miss it.

Well, now that I'm no longer waiting for AF, I'm waiting to O and waiting for my hysteroscopy, which will happen a week from today. Anybody here have experience with having one? My doc just wants to look to see the shape of my uterus, check for fibroids or polyps, and make sure my tubes are open.

Hey love. I have zero experience with hysteroscopy. I will keep my FX that things go smoothly for you, though.

@BookishMomma I had a hysteroscopy! I remember it being uncomfortable and the RE had to put a ton of pressure on my abdomen to get the scope where he wanted it so he could see what needed to see. It caused crazy cramping while he did it and through the rest of the afternoon. Pretty sure I took motrin. For me he was checking to make sure my tubes were open/clear and we learned my uterus is tilted! Hope your appointment comes fast and everything is clear, ready for the next stage!!

We had an awesome time in Denver! I hadn't really realized how absorbed both the hubby and I have been in our jobs, and how much of our evenings/weekend revolved around attending nephews sporting events or going our separate ways for trips to the gym or to get projects accomplished. We would have short random discussions prior to me going to bed (I am early to bed and early to rise these days) and him watching his evening "soap opera's" and cleaning up his DVR. In Denver we had meaningful conversations, focused 100% on ourselves and one another, and really just enjoyed one another!! So glad we got away! We are waiting for my second AF to show it's ugly face (due around Jul 25th) and will then do clomid days 5-9 with an appointment with the RE for a followup ultrasound on/around day 12. We are going to Vegas Aug 6-10th so depending on when my AF shows we may end up having the ultrasound the morning of the 6th if day 12 is when we are in Vegas! We are not going to temp or use OPK's in August, we are just going to enjoy ourselves in Vegas and enjoy spontaneous sex

As for me I am in the 2ww again. This is my second cycle of letrozole. I never got my act together to start temping after vacation so it was opks this month.  I am struggling with my low sugar diet this month... I just love fruit so I am allowing fruit ( in large quantities), so the weightloss has come to a hault.

Amybunny30 I'm so glad you found someone who specializes in TTC/psychiatry. I've been on SSRIs long-term, too, so I know where you're coming from. Losses definitely add extra stress and make mental health more difficult to manage. ((Hugs))

Yay! I am so happy y'all had a good time in Denver. I think doing spontaneous sex is always a good thing! FX that will be your cycle! Y'all are traveling fiends! Denver then Vegas? Awesome!!

I am ok, thanks for asking, hun! I am glad you are taking steps to get your mental health back where it needs to be. That is so important. I like that your doc specializes in reproductive psychiatry, that is going to be a huge help. ((Hugs)) sweetie.

Hey hun, I am ok, thanks for asking! FX this is your cycle. How are you liking the letrozole? I think fruit is ok, I mean doctors are always saying you need to eat lots of it

AFM: I am in the 2ww I guess?  I had a pos OPK the other day and we have been bding all the time.. temp spiked yesterday and is higher today so fx this is it

One more temp spike should confirm it! FX for you this cycle, love. I am doin ok, btw, thanks for asking!

Hey all!

@megrae12 I'm feeling good overall but really really tired... like for the past week or two I'm just tired all the time. Weird. I don't know why. 

It's nice to be back to TTC... It feels so good to finally be trying for a rainbow. I do have an appointment with the GI doc tomorrow but I'm pretty sure it's just to check and be sure I'm still feeling good UC wise and I am. So yay. lol  I'm watching my temps and my ff chart looking for that O and haven't seen it. Starting to wonder if I'm going to O this cycle or not! Been in a week of possible O days according to their predictions so we are trying every other day just to try and cover the bases... I dunno it is all so confusing and apparently PCOS messes with charting. I really need to get some OPKs I think.

I am glad the nausea has gone away. GL with your appointment. Have you thought about going to an RE? Do you see an RE, I cant remember. 

Until now, Ive had no problem getting pregnant. Took me 4 months to get pregnant (2 charting) with my angel. Ive never had a misscarriage and testing has revealed no clotting disorders. I have pcos and after a three month tta on bcp and starting metformin, my cycles have been normal. So, now that weve been trying for a year were at the begining of exploring why im not getting pregnant. I also believe there is only 1 or 2 REs in my state...(maine) so were starting with my OB and go from there.

AF did show, on the 4th no less. Trying to chart and use OPK's to determine when I O. That looks funny, but you ladies know what I mean.

Ya, there are only two REs in my state as well. Mine is four hours away but he has satellite offices where I live. I would recommend looking into it, have you had an HSG or an SHG to make sure all looks good in there? I would at least talk to you OB about that. FX for you and let me know if you need anything, I am here if you need to talk or have questions!

Yay for AF! I am happy she came. Are you using FF to chart? If you are, put a link in your siggy so I and the Crazy Train ladies can look and help you if you have questions. Also, we like to stalk each other here Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi I am new but this seems like the post for me. I miscarried at 5 weeks earlier this week and I am just waiting for all the bleeding and camping to be over with. I know I wasn't pregnant very long but my husband and I both took it hard. Want to be able to ttc again right away but waiting to talk to the dr.

Hi, sweetie. I am very sorry for your loss. Please make sure you intro on the main board so that everyone can have the opportunity to get to know you. I recommend you check out the Newbie check in and check out our blog. It will give you some idea on when to expect your next steps, etc. Is your doctor following your betas down to zero? Have you talked to your doctor about when you can TTC? ((Hugs)) and again I am sorry for your loss.
