So, what's on your mind today, ladies?  I was just eating a strawberry pop tart and thinking about how delicious it was.  I want another one.  

Also thinking about my meeting yesterday with the detective at the local PD.  Interesting stuff going on and he's being a LOT nicer to me this time around.  I'll have to post about it when I have more time.  BD also texted me a picture of his junk this morning.  Sorry, dude.  Not interested or impressed and no, it doesn't make me want a booty call.

I got to talk to my boss's boss's boss today about one of our favorite bands, Rise Against.  This guy used to be so intimidating to me and now we're pretty buddy buddy.  It's awesome to talk to someone at work about good music and not about petty drama.  We talked for like 15 minutes about Riot Fest and RA and Alkaline Trio.  Mind you, this guy is about mid- to late-50s.  

DD slept last night. Like all night.  Like I woke up at 4am and panicked that she died after a week of her crying from 1am to 3am, or until she got into my bed with me.  It was glorious. I mean, after I stopped panicking...

I'm just about ready to quit Facebook. It's an overwhelming time suck and people posting about their awesome lives just makes me feel shitty.

It's okay. I'm just in a rough place emotionally and I have one friend, who in reality is a super sweet, wonderful person, but her family does well financially and they get to go on all these awesome trips and cruises and her kids get to have these amazing experiences...and I can't even afford to take mine to the $3/visit splash pad. I hate that it makes me sad and jealous because I'm not usually a jealous person. In my heart of hearts I'm happy for them but I'm sad for me and I'm sad for my DD.

ETA thanks I'm working hard to appreciate the life I have instead of longing for the life I don't.

Maybe just take a break from Facebook? I do that sometimes. Once for a week, once for a couple weeks to a month, and once for a year. Sometimes coming up for air is quite refreshing.

@jellybean529 I totally relate to feeling jealous from time to time of some of my friend's situations.  But then I try to mentally remind myself of all of the things I have going for me: beautiful & healthy DD, a job and freedom from STBXH.  Easier said than done, I know.

I know what you mean, Jellybean.  I'll miss you on FB but I've thought of taking a break myself.  A lot of my family live out of state and FB is the only way they can really keep up with DD.  I've thought of making a second account for just family. I have one friend who's doing a great job dieting but I don't care to see her daily skinny girl posts and another friend who's just hot (and she knows it) and I don't care to see her skinny girl in a bikini out boating posts.  F you skinny people!  Give me another pop tart.

Junk is just...gross. LOL

And I do just that. I have my DD. I have a roof over my head. I have a car that runs. I have a job that I enjoy. And we've got a lot of love to share...so the rest is just extra.

I also have a skinny friend who posts bikini pics of herself all the time and I'm over here with my 250+ fat ass like...fork over the pop tarts. (Seriously...anybody?)

I can totally relate to feeling jealous now that I have FB. I created my first account ever about a month ago. It is way time consuming and gives me bad feels. I might not stay long.

My random ish - I'm on a new birth control pill and still break through bleeding in month 3. And I have a weekend date so no bueno.

On the topic of bleeding - I always bleed after sex. Embarrassing when it's with someone new.

Lastly, my nanny is in the hospital and pretty sick. I hope she is ok and I hope to still visit my friend. I hope that doesn't sound too selfish.

Guys, i dont understand peoples obsession with club music. Its obnoxious. It isnt catchy. And i hate it.

Also the older i get the more i turn into a crotchety old man. Damn kids these days with their hip hop music and their baggy pants.

When i was with STBXH I wasn't allowed to cut my hair or do anything he didn't approve of. Today, I chopped my hair off. It was past my bra. It doesn't touch my shoulders now. I feel fresh. My reaction if STBXH has anything to say about it (assuming he wants to get DS this weekend which probably won't happen):

Some club music is seriously annoying.  Other stuff isn't so bad.  But my inner crotchety old man comes out much more frequently these days, too.

@ladyoriza  Good for you for doing something fun for YOU.  Did you have the freak out moment when you washed your hair for the first time after getting it cut?

Last night I got a call from the jail phone.  I have a no contract phone so I can't take collect calls, not that I would have anyway.  Since I don't normally associate with criminals it had to have been BD calling apparently wanting to let me know he's in jail (he is, I checked this morning).  I have no idea if they issued a warrant, just popped him for probation violation or what.  My dad drove by his mommy's house last night and his truck wasn't there so maybe he was out driving around (he has no license) and got pulled over or something.  Either way, I don't have to worry about my house/garage being broken into for awhile.  The dogs will be so happy to have the back door open again. I guess I'll have to wait for his letters to start coming to find out more.

@tig594 did you check the police blotter?  That's how I knew about BD's ex-psycho's previous DUI's.  All of them involved some sort of accident (hitting another car, hitting a tree, or other property damage).

Good thinking.  Except it wouldn't be in there until they put next weeks paper out.  Also not sure which agency got him.  I could call the detective I've been talking to but I probably won't.  I never did tell them about the junk text.  That would probably get BD in a lot more trouble.  If they just violated him they can make him serve his whole DUI sentence.  I think that goes to Feb 2017.  D'oh!

@tig594 Yay for your BD getting arrested again so you can have some peace and quiet! Sucks for him though that he couldn't be responsible and stay out of jail!

@tig594‌ when my stbxh got arrested did violating restraining order they kept me posted on everything. I'm sure you could call and ask and he would never know.

S/O I got a call from police yesterday. Stbxh got pulled over with kids in the car (minor infraction they said) but they wanted to make sure he had the rights to have the kids with him. This pd is phenomenal and really looking out for me and my kids. I asked why he got pulled over and he said he really couldn't say but it wasn't speeding or anything and the kids were ok. Whew!

Uh... I hope you press the issue with your STBXH... I would want to know why the PD pulled him over if they called you. But then again, maybe I'm just overly nosey about the bullshit BD does when it comes to DD...

Btw, you guys, I'm keeping BD from seeing DD. you know, by not calling him or checking up on whether he wants to come by or whatever. You know, because he doesn't have the balls to say "I would like to make plans to see her." Which is all fine with me but his friend I invited me to her bday party next weekend, and I worry about who I'd run into and what else he's been saying.

My lawyer told me to stop texting and reaching out about the kids. If he wants to know something than he will ask. Which is so true.
I used to call nightly per out court order but after the umpteen time of him not answering I said fuck that. Now I only call of the kids make it known they want to talk to him (they will pretend to call him on their play phones for ex)
