Where else can I go to connect with AP mamas? Are there FB groups, other boards? I always liked the gentleness of this group...

Great places to connect with other AP moms are local API chapters and La Leche League groups (lots of moms in LLL follow some AP-style parenting practices, but not everyone, of course). I'm sure there are some Facebook groups - there are babywearing groups (like BWI) and other AP-friendly things out there.
