Rants/Raves/Chartstalks/Symptoms:  I had a very realistic dream last night that I discovered the elusive implantation bleeding.  It would be nice if our bodies could give us clear-cut signs that early on.  

GTKY - If you were guaranteed to be paid over 100K a year + benefits (that is to say, if money were not an issue) what would your "dream job" be?  My dream job was my current position working in schools, but now that I'm familiar with all of the different stressors to the job I think I would be happy to be a barista again, if only it paid as well!  I do still love my job working with the students though.

I'm a teacher and love working with the kids, but the other things (intense parents, constant curriculum changes, and testing) make it really hard! I think I would want to work with younger children. One summer while I was in college, I worked with 1 year olds in a daycare and loved it! They learn so much really fast! I think I would want to do that.

@Nevertoomanyshoes I have a lot of respect for those that desire that job - I hope you find a position soon!  

@JNCpro3130 I too love teaching but agree that the curriculum changes/seemingly useless regulations and testing make the job sometimes feel like a drain.  Maybe when you have your little one someday you can open your own daycare and hang with 1 year olds all day!  I personally would love to send my LO to a daycare where the main provider was a former teacher.

I think I would like to stay home and sell from my etsy shop. But if I did that and made that much money my hands would call off from all that work!

Wow guys! Lots of teachers on here this morning! I'd like to consider myself part of your group since I'm a Speech Therapist in a preschool and also have been dealing with all the new city/state/medicare requirements and overloaded caseload, so I get your stresses...

I wish I went to medical school and became a pediatrician...that, or become a naturopathic doctor/acupuncturist..something with alternative medicine combined with western medicine.

@JNCPro3130, working with little kids is so rewarding, I agree.  When I do homecare with the toddlers, it's amazing how quickly they progress!

@NeverTooManyShoes, I hope a permanent position opens up soon! I also can't get into a good elementary school because of the oversaturation in the field.

I'd run an in-home Montessori child care center with 4-8 kids around the same age as mine. This is exactly what I currently do, though I haven't been able to be picky with the ages of the children. And I also stress about money a lot, because this clearly offers neither a good salary, nor benefits.

I agree with PP, could be CD 17, 18 or 19. If you had more chart data you might know whether you typically have a big temp drop the day of, the day before or even two days before you ovulate. With this being your first month, there's really no way to tell for sure. I'd suggest OPKs as an added method to cross reference which can help pinpoint your O even better. Looks like you definitely ovulated and hit at least a few days though, so that's great! I got KU with -2 and -3 last time around, so it's definitely possible!

Haha! I just read this after posting mine. This is exactly what I did! I taught for several years, then opened up my own daycare/preschool once my daughter was born. It's definitely got its own challenges (being self-employed means a lot of considerations like taxes, paperwork, insurance, etc) but it's really my ideal!

@epidemic, I have the opposite problem - my DH accuses me of stealing the covers! Ever thought of having two blankets?  In the summer, we have two since they are smaller/lighter terry material

@linny1012, FX for you that this is your cycle, even though you don't feel it to be so.  Interior design sounds awesome, you should totally go for it if it's something you love.  What is your current job?

@linny1012, it definitely is possible! My sister is a social worker and decided to do newborn and family photography and she's no booked for every weekend. You never know until you try! When I buy a new apt, how about you help with the layout ??

For her, FF likely moved the crosshairs because she reported fertile CM after the original predicted ovulation date, and her temperatures moved up even higher than they had been before. They gave her the original crosshairs based on CM and a few temps going up, but those temps weren't above the cover line, so when she had more temps even higher, the crosshairs changed. Without a history of chart data and/or more signs like CP or OPKs, FF can only do so much.

@babynica I'm going to agree with previous posters and say that I think FF is right about CD 19. It moved them because all the temps after CD 19 are above the cover line when CD 18 is not above the cover line.

CD/DPO: 30/10

Timing: -3, -2, -1, +1

Testing plans: Today was my 4th day of BFNs. Period is due tomorrow, so I guess if my temp doesn't drop below the cover line, I test one last time...but I won't bother if my temp drops anymore than it has already.

Rants/Raves/Chartstalks/Symptoms: Just frustrated today. My temp is just barely above cover line. I've pretty much lost hope for this cycle though I'm not having any PMS symptoms yet. I know we haven't been trying long but it hurts that we got pregnant on the first cycle last time with a blighted ovum. I miss being pregnant with a head full of hopes and dreams for my little baby. Hopefully having to work a little harder for it this time will give us better results.

I wish we were just working for the kids and not for the state. I worked at a daycare in the one year old room when I was in college. They only paid minimum wage but I loved it. Testing plans: I've been getting BFP's for 3 days now.  I had a mini freakout yesterday when the line was barely there with fmu.  I don't know if it was a faulty FRER or what but the line is stronger today and I got "pregnant" on a digital so I guess I am ready to call it.  

Rants/Raves/Chartstalks/Symptoms: I know it is early but I have that hungover feeling in the pit of my stomach.  It is weird bc I had zero morning sickness with my son

So I know I posted earlier, but this spotting is driving me crazy. The spotting is getting slightly heavier, but no where near red flow. It's still brown/dark red. Yesterday I had 1 spot of bright red but that's been it. I am still 'spotting' right since there's been no flow or bright red (besides 1 spot yesterday)?

I wouldn't worry.  I've had spotting go on sometimes 2-3 days before AF started, and the same amount after.  Your body is probably just getting rid of old blood.
