Update and a Question

Hey Everyone!
DH and I just had our second "class" with our agency on Monday.  At this meeting, we were given the laundry list of paperwork we need to fill out and compile.  One of the papers lists a variety of situations, and we check off what we are comfortable with, (everything from incarcerations to mental health).  My question is this, there is an extensive section on drug use. If you filled out a similar form, was there a website that helped you make informed decisions? Thanks!

There *might* be something in the FAQs, or looking through posts (this is asked about once a month or so). Our best resource was our family doctor, who was also DD's doctor. He went over all the substance exposures and gave us his professional opinion on each.

Good info here... As for us we checked the absolute no box on alcohol as well... And were open to quite a bit... I also was iffy on the meth but in the end we got a foster son who was somewhat exposed to meth, norco and cigarettes. He's still young only 10 months old so hard to tell what some of the lasting symptoms will be but so far he has some neurological issues like tremors but were not sure if it's stress induced. Also one thing meth does is it effects there muscle tone and sometimes can have bowed legs or very tight muscles like in there calves or poor trunk strength...and makes it harder for walking and crawling early on. Those are some issues we are having.
