nervous and excited (bfp warning)

I’m still nervous since this was a wacky cycle and it’s early on. I’ll try to keep this long story short. I had HSG and SHG testing the week of Memorial Day. On day 16, when I should have been O’ing (usually do between days 15 and 17), I got what I thought was AF. At first thought it was spotting from O, but then it got too heavy (sorry for the TMI). When I called RE’s office, the nurse told me that it was probably AF and early due to all the testing. I did my usual OPK’s in June and got a positive day 18. Fast forward to this past weekend and I get a positive hpt and RE call me for in blood work Monday. My betas came back very high and they call me in for an ultrasound. RE starts off the appointment by saying that it’s very early based on my OPK, so not to panic if we only see a gestational sac. Instead she found me measuring 6 weeks and we could see the heartbeat. Her guess is that the OPK was a false positive. I’m so excited, but cautious. The RE will do another ultrasound next week and do another round of thyroid testing to check my levels and then hopefully all will be well and she can release me to OB.
