The term "Irish twins" is actually pretty racist and gross. Other than that, try the 2U2 board, maybe?

This. Also back-to-back pregnancies can be hard on the body so I'd recommend checking with your OB for what spacing between pregnancies they recommend for you.
  • my doc gave me the thumbs up.. my body healed and he has no worries.. I only gained 17 lbs and already lost that (2 weeks pp)... LO is 11 weeks and doc said so long as I take care of myself he gave the all okay.
  • At three mos I thought I could handle 2u1 or 2u2. DS STTN, was an easy baby and generally just awesome. Then the 4 month wakeful hit and DS went to daycare and has been sick/waking up a lot ever since. Yeah, there will be no #2 here for a long time.
Six years of infertility and loss, four IUIs, one IVF and one very awesome little boy born via med-free birth 10.24.13.

PPs pretty much summed up everything I wanted to say.
    Just wanted to add this:

  • I have 2 under 2.  It was unplanned and incredibly difficult.  I wouldn't change it now but holy smokes 2 under 1 is crazy!

Give it a few months to enjoy your girl and then maybe try for another baby (boy or girl!)
