I am so nervous typing this, like I'll jinx it or something... but after 9 months since my MC, I thought it may never happen! In Feb 2013 my amh was 0.4 which was a little concerning, but OB wanted me to try naturally anyway, for at least 6 months after coming off BCPS. It happened on the 7th month, but then we had the MC in October.  I wish I would have found/joined this group sooner, the MC and 7 months of healing, making lifestyle changes so we could even TTC again was a tough road, the TTC time kept getting pushed out another cycle and then another, I thought for sure I'd be out of eggs or whatever (silly me)! It would have been great to have this great support system then. BUT I'm glad I found you all eventually! The support I've had this past month has been wonderful - so thank you!

So, I've been helping my mom and grandma move and have been away from the computer pretty much since the 4th of July.  But I was supposed to wait until July 10th to test and I just couldn't wait... got my BFP on July 7th... I took 2 tests, digital and regular, both positive!! :D

I called my OB immediately b/c of previous MC she wants to watch me closely. I went in same day as + test and they did blood work, got results yesterday and my progesterone level is 44. She told me anything 25+ was good. So, my first + news! *whew* .. I did 2 cycles of Letrozole, so OB thought for sure I'd need progesterone supplement, but things are looking good so far.

B/c of the loss, I'm very nervous, this will be my first, so every little twinge scares me! I would love to continue asking questions to relax my mind and nerves if you all don't mind! Thanks again! *hugs* everyone!

  • AHH! Congratulations!!!!!! :):):):):)
    TTC#1 since Aug 2013, I'm 37, DH 41.
Maya Arvigo Abdominal massage (daily self care), plus TTC meditations.
I'm very sensitive to diet (gluten, avoid processed foods) and environment. Have a history of inflammation and tendinitis before going off gluten in 2009.
July 2014 - RE Visit #1: Eggs look good, Endometrioma on R ovary, HSG showed blocked R tube close to ovary. DH SA normal
DX: Endometriosis probably the IF cause and gunking up tubes.  Since egg reserve is high, RE says I can wait a couple months and then get laproscopic surgery to remove endo & clear tube.  If that doesn't help then move to IVF.
Dec 2014 - Saw new RE - does not recommend surgery on tube as it isn't likely to help.  Doubts I have endometriosis.  My endometrioma shrunk to neglible size (yay!)
    Seriously considering IVF in March/April
    12/17/14 - Natural BFP!

Congratulations, and H&H 9 months to you!
  • Congratulations and a H&H 9 months to you!

And I totally understand the stressing due to previous MC. If it helps, just remember that this is most likely the beginning of worrying about your baby for the rest of your life! Try to take some deep breaths and imagine a white light around your baby.... It might help you de-stress and feel like you're doing a little something to help boost your baby's beginning.

  • In the grads update at the very least! Also, we're going to stalk you on the preggo boards now.

On a totally unrelated note, is your puppy a Jack Russell or something else? Too adorable! If it is, would you recommend the breed for someone TTC?

@marijaa333 - All right, sounds good! :) Thank you!  All we know for sure is my dog is a boxer mix. She was a rescue, but we were able to see the mom and all the puppies together. The mom was a black boxer and the puppies looked like there may have been different dads?? 2 of them had jack russell features, 2 of them looked like pit bulls and the rest looked like boxers (lighter brown color). But my dog definitely has some terrier mixed in there! She's only 30lbs, but she has the strength of a 60+ lb dog! She has dainty paws but a wide chest, so she pulls hard when on the leash (she walks me instead of me walking her!). Her bark is also deep like a boxer, but she has the energy and whininess of the terrier and the whining is annoying! You can never tell her anything until the last minute or she'll whine for an hour, high pitch, hurts my ears so bad! She's not a kisser at all or really that affectionate except when she first wakes up and when you get home after being gone for awhile, I think that's the terrier in her. She'll lick your hands and feet, but not your face (that's actually okay, but an occasional kiss would be nice)! But she's really smart and figures things out quick. So I think it's a great breed, but very hyper and requires a lot of attention and playing, if you're up for that go for it! But I know terriers have a bad reputation for being ankle biters, and we've witnessed her chasing behind people and nipping at their ankles... my DH's mom is always nervous to have the grandkids around her - but she doesn't bite, she's just herding. Once we have kids, we'll be able to train her better not to do that. I picked her b/c she was a beautiful puppy and very sweet-natured, if I would have known about the terrier traits, specifically the whining and overbearing barking, I may have had second thoughts. I still love her like a child though, no matter what. :) She's the perfect size (still kind of easy to pick up), but I may not get a terrier again! Hope that helps!

  • @mdogan29: Your dog is beautiful. I have an affinity for terriers. And boxers are such sweeties.
