Buying all the diapers anonymous?

I need someone to change my ebay and spots corner passwords please and not tell me what they are. I want to buy all the diapers! I'm getting bored and want to try new stuff. Even though or current system works quite well. I want to try hemp flats and more wool and fitteds and AIOs and.....you guys are enablers. That's all.

Truth. I've had a watermelon BB, among various other items, in two separate shopping carts for like 2 weeks. I keep staring and almost hitting the order button, then closing it out, only to do it again the next day.

DH already said no more diapers (we don't have that much compared to others) but I want to buy them all and try new things!

DH: I see Lowes has that socket set I've been wanting on sale this weekend.

Me: Huh.  How much is it?

DH: $42

Me: Well if you really want it, I suppose it's fine.  But I'm buying new diapers if you get it.

@CLLDLL‌ I've almost used this tactic on DH. He bought a machete because it was a good deal...a machete...we don't live in the jungle!

He is notorious for buying random stuff that we "might need" just because he found it on a deal site. At least the diapers get used daily!

I was doing fine until I discovered TT's.  Now I tell myself that I have to pick one every week and if I don't LOVE any, I don't get any.  Um, hello, one diaper a WEEK at $40+ a pop!?  That's not a logical plan, lol.  I really should sell the ones I don't LOVE to fund more!!

Also, after our latest pregnancy blimp, I've decided that it might be a good idea to take an interest in girly diapers, you know, just in case.  I figure with the TT's I can just keep them NIP and sell for what I paid for them.  Also, I may or may not already have 4 BG 4.0's in my closet NIP waiting on the next baby.

Then, last night as I was spraying a Hummingbird diaper, I was thinking how much I like the color and I should probably order more before its discontinued.  I also thought about getting another Mirror even though I have 2 already.

And...I've recently switched to GMD yellow prefolds to stuff my pockets and just realized that the 36 prefolds I have are not enough to stuff all my pockets.  I need to order another dozen, so I'll probably order the next bigger size in workhorses so I don't have to pay shipping.

Geez, it really is an addiction.  

Should I post the cost/benefit analysis again?

I'm glad that I'm not alone. Our stash is very modest. I come on here and read about all these new things and want to try them all.

You should definitely try new things!  Then you really find out what you love and can narrow your stash to your favorites.  Its an awesome place to be!!!

just yesterday, mh and I decided that one new diaper a month was okay (meaning, he wouldn't side-eye me when another package came to the door) 

so I'm super happy with that. eventually I'll have everything I want. 

my biggest issue is finding free shipping

this is how we came up with our "allowances" each month.  mh likes video games, I like cloth diapers.  so we both compromised

we must be married to the same person.  We totally had the "Is that a machete?"  convo and I promptly went on line and bought two more AIOs.

My dad has a machete and uses it all the time. For what, exactly, I'm not sure.

This is me! I just put in an order for some Best Bottoms, which I have been wanting for quite some time. I'm just waiting for my fluff to arrive in the mail, but yesterday I decided I really love the cut and trim style of my Lil' Helper AI2 (which I use as an AIO because the cover is not wipeable) and it's handy to have "easy changes" for the grandparents. So I ordered 3 more of those, and a bunch of accessories.

I justify all of this with the fact that I sold off my newborn prefolds and a couple covers and half the pocket diapers I don't really like last week, and someone has already contacted me about the other 5 pockets I listed. But, the money I got from those just covered half of my new Best Bottoms, so that's not really a justification for all these new diapers really.

And I already have bought all the diapers. My stash is so huge I could have a basketball team in cloth and still not *need* to do laundry.

ETA: It doesn't stop me from eyeing 2 more Best Bottom covers and the Maui Blueberry coverall.

I'm not in love with my little helper AIO.  I thought I was going to love it, but I don't.  I have only put it on twice to check fit and I just can't see her in it for an actual test run.  Maybe she needs to be bigger.  I was thinking of selling it though.

I was doing pretty good until I just went on a pocket buying spree. Before that our stash was almost entirely prefolds. DH is really the one who prefers the pockets, so he didn't mind. And I was going to have to get some more OS diapers eventually for when DS2 is in OS as well as C.

I should be done for a while. Should be.

My husband just bought a Surface tablet.

Considering it cost more than all of my diapers, I think I'm good.

My husband just found another package of work horses. I tired to hide them but he got to them first! He says "we don't even have our baby yet." I am betting that he will love whs over night. He just does not understand this diaper stuff at all!

If I have to buy all the diapers I will get the one love diaper, and the fuzbaby. Nothing will made my more happy and satisfy than those two brands.

I was totally obsessed for a while. Now I have zero interest. Weird. We have more than enough diapers and I expect we'll start potty training in the next 6 months or so.

Of course, now I'm obsessed with ThredUp for me, so there's that.

That's funny, my Lil' Helper was the first OS diaper to fit Colin. It's so trim and slim, I don't think it will fit to PLing, but it fits great now.

And they're pricing for diaper creams is usually higher.  Plus I can never find either the print or the closure that I'm looking for.

Or even worse, the supplier for amazon still charges shipping even with my Prime membership.

6 months ago I thought I was done buying diapers, and then all of a sudden when DS turned 2, his Simplex started to fit kinda wonky. So I've taken them out of circulation, and even though we have enough diapers I want more! In the last 2 weeks I've bought a TotsBots v4, a Milovia, and 4 new Thirsties pockets. I keep telling myself it's so I have more DC friendly (Aplix) diapers, since DS is going up to 4 days in the fall. But only half of the diapers I've bought are Aplix ...
