Diaper Changing torture

Logan HATES to have his diaper changed. When I try to change him it is a full on battle. I'm talking screaming bloody murder, twisting, arching and kicking. It almost takes two people to change him just so one person can hold him down. Normally I think maybe I should start trying PT but he never tells me when he has to go and could sit in the nasty diaper for hours. He also doesn't seem to have much interest in the potty so I guess I just assumed he isn't ready. He doesn't do this at daycare when he is there two days a week but does do it to an extent at in IL's who watch him a 1-2 days a week. Anyone else deal with this? I don't know what to do and it is so exhausting to constantly be fighting him.

I bribe him with Thomas and Friends or Pooh or stickers. Once he's on the table though I never let go of a foot and can kind of pin him down so he can't turn over.  This morning though he got changed on my lap in the rocking chair.

Well its good to know that I am not the only one dealing with this. I will sometimes try to give him something to play with or look at to distract him and he ends up throwing it across the room 95% of the time.

We have to get her to do something during diaper changes, or it's a struggle. Sometimes it's letting her pick out a toy to inspect, during poo changes we usually play Simon says... put your hands on your head... nose... anywhere far away from her nether regions. Every now and again when she really wants nothing to do with it,  we ask her to change her own diaper. That gets her horizontal immediately and as she tries to get it under her bum, we take over.
