(cross-post in SAIF) Anyone have any luck with a no BC IVF cycle?!

(Hope this is an appropriate board.) AH! I am feeling super weirded out by my protocol because I can't help but compare what I'm taking to what I see other people on the Bump taking.  Here is what I've got:

With my AMH being 11 RE is afraid of overstimulating.  So here are my meds:

Azithromycin (DH and I will both take 2 to prevent bacterial issues, etc)

Follistim 900IU

Ganirelix 250 mcg (5)

Ovidrel 250 mcg (may include Lupron when we get farther in, they said it depends on what happens)

Prometrium 200 mg (vaginal)

We are doing a money-back program, which lessens a -smidge- of the pressure to get this cycle perfect but ahhh!  I don't want to waste one of our cycles as part of the program.

As an aside, can you tell me what the Lupron was for? I tried to ask today and the nurse explained it, but I just don't have a frame of reference at this point to understand it.

I did IUI and it was canceled due to overstimulation (not OHSS or anything, just way tooo many follicles for an IUI). My doctor originally told me I would need to be on BC before doing IVF, but changed his mind (reason unclear to me) and I went straight to IVF the next cycle and I got pregnant.

My 2 fresh and 1 frozen cycles were without BC (got pregnant on my FET).  In fact the Frozen cycle was completely unmedicated other than a trigger shot (had monitoring starting day 5), and Crinone starting a few days prior to transfer.

For my fresh cycles I was on an estrogen priming protocol - starting day 21 - estrogen patch every other day, then starting day 2 or 3, started on Menopur and Gonal F (or Follistim), after several days they added Cetrotide to prevent premature ovulation, and then triggered with Novarel.  Then Crinone starting 2 days post retrieval.

So while my fresh cycles were not successful per se, we did get frozen embryos, which we were successful with in our Frozen cycle.

My AMH was 12 and I was on the Antagonist protocol. My meds and ER results are in my siggy, but I was on BCP for 13 days before stimming. I stimmed for 8 nights and my doses always went down. I used 4 ganirelix. I triggered with 2 lupron triggers and a very small amt of pregnyl. I did not develop OHSS or over stimilate. My RE did a really great job. Good luck to you! Edited to add I did a freeze all cycle, so no fresh transfer. I had success with my first FET.

I did not use BC for IVF fresh cycle #1, and got 4 eggs: one usable, which resulted in DS.

I did use BC for IVF fresh cycle #2, and got 16 eggs: 12 useable, which resulted in this pregnancy and one frozen embryo. I had severe bloating after ER but it tapered down in about 3-4 weeks to just pregnancy bloat.
