Trying to get pregnant...but not sure if it's to early or not...

Well hello everyone,

I'm new here and just would like some words of advice on trying to conceive my first child. I was on birth control (which I was taking pills for my birth control) for a year and when me and my husband decided I should stop taking it so we could try to have a baby we did. I stop taking it March 13th. I spotted on March 19th-20th. Had a period in April. Didn't have a period in May (was stressed out at work but things are better.) had a period in June. My period last 3 days in June. I have not had a period yet for July and I'm a week late. I haven't taking a pregnancy test yet (I really don't care to look at another negative test because I really want a positive:) ) but my question is...is it to early to get pregnant from being off of my birth control for 4 months now? And if so how much more time would you think that all the birth control was out of my system?

It would be helpful to know what cycle day you are on, not just that you had a period sometime in June. Also the length of your period is irrelevant. But the only thing that will tell you if you are pregnant is a pregnancy test. Good luck.

If you had your period the last three days of June, why do you think you're late now? That's only a week ago. You REALLY need to learn about how your body and cycles work. Get an account with Fertility Friend and do the free tutorials there, you'll learn tons. Also plese do read the newbie blog on this board, tons of great info there too. And take a damn test, you've only been TTC for a few months and can't be sick of negatives yet, that's ridiculous. I've been TTC for 2 years and still would rather take a test and KNOW than not take one claiming I can't see another negative. Get over yourself. A test is the only way to know if you're pregnant or not, just suck it up and take it.
