Femera Question

I am on my first round of Femara with IUI after finding out I am resistant to Clomid. They are going at it fairly aggressive with 10mg for 5 days which I finished on the 4th. However is it normal to continue to have the awful headaches and what are some things I could take to get relief?

I did get headaches with Femara but thankfully they were more on the side of annoying than migraines.  I just took Tylenol and that helped.  GL!

Same with me, and I just took ibuprofen.

So sorry about your headaches. Mine weren't bad. I'm only allowed to take Tylenol but never did for that.

This is my first cycle of 5mg Femera after taking 100 mg of clomid and getting terrible mood swings and unbearable headaches. I have had hardly any side effects from the Femera other than very minor headaches first thing in the morning! Hope it gets better for you!

My RE said the headaches/migraines aren't from Letrozole per-say, but from the change in hormones. If your hormones are still moving around, that could cause headaches.

Since I have a history of migraines, I got permission ahead of time to take Excedrin. Sometimes the effect of the migraine is more of a risk than the medication you take to get rid of it.
