One more clomid cycle or move to injections?

Hello Everyone:

I'm sitting here waiting for my RE office to call back with my BETA results. I had two negative tests 11/12 DPO and some spotting 12DPO into the morning of 13DPO so I am very prepared for the BETA to come back negative. I spoke with the RE today and she said I could do one more round of clomid, or she was comfortable with us moving to injections. My issue is that I'm moving to a mountain community in late August so this is my last cycle with this RE so now I'm wondering if I should skip the clomid and try the injections. 

If you moved on to injections and you don't mine sharing, what was your reason? Any insight into injections would also be great.

I moved onto injects after 2 Clomid cycles because I wasn't having a very good response to Clomid. I was only getting one follicle each time, I was on the max dose, and the earliest I ever ovulated was CD 21.

I think it looks like you're responding well to Clomid, so personally, I would stick with it for at least one more cycle. I would be worried about over-responding on injects if you are already having multiple mature follicles on Clomid. However, I think it's a personal decision. I don't think moving on would be crazy, it's just not what I would do. :-)

If you are responding well to Clomid, it's worth another cycle.

I got pregnant with my daughter on round three of Clomid, and my mom got pregnant with 3 of her 4 kids after 3 round of Clomid...so there is hope if the first two don't work, IMO.
