Update time!

Hello ladies

It's been less than a week since I found out I was pregnant. It took some time to get past the panic and I am now mostly feeling happy. We've told both sets of parents. I plan on telling one sibling after my first appointment, and everyone else at 12 weeks.

My symptoms mainly consist of ongoing twinges in the pelvic area and right side, and fatigue. I'm trying to settle into the lower energy levels by going to bed earlier, getting up later and taking an afternoon nap. The twinges freak me out now and then, but they are not interfering with my daily activities, so I'm trying not to worry about them. The internet seems to think they're normal.

I've upped my carb intake a little, as seems to be the online advice for women who are on paleo/primal. I think that's going to be the extent of my increased calories. I don't have any weight gain yet.

My work & chores have taken a hit because of the fatigue. But I've managed to mostly keep up with my work-outs and socializing. I think I'll get better about the work & chores when I understand my limitations better.

My first appointment is at 7 weeks, which isn't for another 10 days. 10 days seems like an eternity right now!

Six weeks and still here. I'm having a lot of nausea and can't figure out what to eat. I'm also exhausted, absolutely exhausted. And peeing all the time. I'm hanging on to those symptoms, because I'm also having a fair amount of dull pain in my abdomen. Not cramping and nothing like my mc, but boy I hate that. My first us is in a week. Trying to keep breathing.

Great news from everyone!

Should I officially be posting here yet? Got BFP on Monday (7/7), so nervous and excited, called OB right away b/c she wants to watch me very closely this time. Checked my progesterone level same day, it was 44, nurse said anything over 25 is good, so this was great news. They want to do early US, but say I need to be at least 6 weeks along, so I should have an appointment set soon for about 1.5 weeks from now.

I'm super nervous, also like @CaraH just trying to take deep breaths!

I'm feeling every twinge and gas and bloating feels kinda like cramps sometimes... it's confusing/scary!

Hi gang:

Sorry I was absent from last week's check in. I will be 23 weeks as of tomorrow, and am getting kicked by Mr. Nugget as I type this. I had a oby/gyn appointment yesterday (I go every 2 weeks and they're insisting on monthly ultrasounds because I had pre-e with my son, I guess they're checking for IUGR), and I'm still down 5 pounds from pre-pregnancy weight. I had to go on that "Family Vacation" last week (which was, as expected, a nightmare, and I was so stressed from it that I lost weight). Came back with a sick toddler, whose fever topped out at 105 on Saturday (he's on antibiotics for what we think was a strep infection, according to the Urgent Care doctor) and the exhaust in my car fell out this past Sunday (that was fun). All in all, it was a crappo week that I'm glad is over. Car is fixed, kid is better, new kid is doing well. That's all I can ask for, I guess.

I still haven't officially announced publicly that I am pregnant, nor at work. I know, I know, I'm like 6 months pregnant and still in hiding. I think I might be in denial that I'm actually going to have another kid or something? It's very weird, but it WILL be happening. It's a little scary how quickly time is passing!

Hi Ladies -

I am now 11wks, 4 days and just had my first official OB appt today. Everything looks great and on track - and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat!!!

We were nervous since I had some bleeding on Friday, but all was ok thankfully!

Only 'negative' - turns out my OB no longer delivers at the hospital we want to go to - she only delivers out in the 'burbs now. She gave us the name of her colleague - same practice but not only practices at the hospital near us that we like but also is the Chair of the department. And my current OB/gyn said that she sent her best friend to her - so clearly a good sign. We will meet her at our next appt.

Hi all- 19 weeks today! Still can't feel any movement but I have 2 anterior placentas... Anatomy scan on 7/21. Our full amnio was perfect for both girls :-)

Hey ladies! I am 10 weeks now and doing well. Morning sickness is still kickin but zofran is keeping it tolerable. I see my mfm and OB in a week and a half and can't wait to see my babies again! I'm so anxious!
