Hi friends.  Hope you are all doing well.  I think the RE appt overall went well.  I'm still waiting for my OB to get my karyotyping results back - I hope he will contact me soon with the info and then we can decide whether or not to have DH tested as well.  We're just waiting... I'm in the 2WW (though FF waited until 5DPO to give me CHs), and while I'm not sure our timing was great, it was at least there and we'll see what happens.  DH was so hoping during the U/S last week at the REs that they would say "OH, look there - you're pregnant already you don't need us".  (Sigh, he's so sweet and optimistic) :-)  Mind you my appt was 1DPO... Beyond that we're just in a waiting game.  If we're not successful this cycle I'm hoping AF comes a little earlier than she has been b/c I'm not sure how my body will respond to clomid and I'm going to be out of town on business on CD18/19 and I normally O on CD20 so it bugs me to try medication and a trigger if we can't give it our best shot if that makes sense...?  In other news, I started Insanity this week and I'm sore as all get out.

ETA - My OB just called and let me know that my karyotyping came back completely normal... I'm both relieved and confused... I'd like to know there's something I can DO rather than do nothing in the face of this...

6/21/2014- When are you visiting your in-laws? Any fun plans while you are there?

We are leaving on the 25th of July and returning on August 1st (stupid work.)  No plans necessarily. Mainly stay on the beach. Sailing. Dinner. Hey, beats working long hours and doing it all over again the next day :)

    QOTW: What’s your favorite movie?

Hmm...so many to pick from. I would say Children of Men. Amazing story line, actors, etc.

Lots of hugs to anyone who needs them this week. I hope all of you ladies enjoyed the holiday weekend.

@MrsG80inTN  --FX for good timing. I know how you feel about the results, no news does not always help. FX the clomid does not screw around and gets the memo so you can catch the O when your with H. :)

@jbasore1123  Thanks for the check in! Yeah I hope so too... Hard to tell when/if I do. PCOS makes the temps erratic sometimes and my cycles are so irregular.  Time to use OPKS too I think...

I'm doing good. Happy to be back on the horse so to speak. Happy to have UC in remission too! Not much else going on around here. lol Except i have been having headaches a lot. =-/

QOTW: wow.. I have to pick one?... um... I guess it is Tangled... yes an animated movie... lol I love animated movies!

    Edit: forgot QOTW!

  • Hi all! Sorry I've been too confused to commit to writing anything. Last week was really hard emotionally. We did plant the most beautiful yellow rose bush to memorialize our loss. AF showed up today and I'm kind of relieved because I didn't like how messed up everything was. I definitely did miss my window last cycle by a day maybe 2 (so pissed at clear blue digital). I OD on CD14 and had temperatures higher than I ever did before and for the first time had a long cycle (29 days!). I had really high hopes so I'm pretty bummed. On the plus side I've learned a lot and I'm hoping it helps me with this cycle.
I'm puppy-sitting an 8 week old golden retriever this week so at least I have him too keep me extra busy. We're also renovating the bank I work at so its making everything extra chaotic and busy.

@MrsG80inTN- My fingers are crossed for you this cycle, as well as for the last of your results.

@kittymeowbark- That vacay sounds so relaxing, I'm jealous!

    @BackstreetPixie- FX for great timing!

    All this^
You girls are awesome and I'm hoping for good news for all of us soon!
QOTW: I HATE this about myself but I love Team America. I kill myself laughing every time. There are a lot of great movies out there though, tough choice.
@jbasore1123‌ thanks again for the check in!

  • Ugh.. I'm doing fine I guess. Still pretty upset over the loss of our Cousin, spent a lot of much needed time with Family and got ripped a new one by insensitive co-workers about how I didn't need 3 days off for the funeral.  >:P We came to the mutual agreement that we are going to stop clomid and not ttc for a few months...but not prevent it either. I'll try to keep checking on here and stay in the loop but its just too much stress right now. Going to spend some time getting fit and healthier and help the hubby lose some weight and get in shape. Wish me luck!

ETA - My OB just called and let me know that my karyotyping came back completely normal... I'm both relieved and confused... I'd like to know there's something I can DO rather than do nothing in the face of this...
@MrsG80inTN - Just wanted to let you know that I understand this completely.  We got our karyotyping results on the 4th (via online portal) and seeing "normal" actually made me sad bc, like you, I saw that as something concrete that could be addressed. While waiting for all of the other stuff to come back, you still have the worry that you're not going to get a reason and a fix.  Big hugs hon!

@towncargirl - first bolded comment- WTF?!?!? I'm in HR and I'd say a 3 day bereavement leave is a pretty standard policy, no matter the family member that was lost, so I hope you told them to F off!!  Second bolded comment- we're doing the same- trying to get our family in better health- just wanted to say good luck!  Big hugs hon- we're here if you need us :)

  • @jbasore1123 - thanks for the check-in, how are you doing?

We got our karyotyping results in on the 4th and they were normal and it was such a big mess of emotions.  It really seemed like that was going to make sense of all of this for us and, even though it wouldn't be an easy road, there would be a specific cause and "fix".  So now we know that we'll eventually be referred to a MFM. We are still waiting on the autopsy/baby's chromosomes as well as going in the first week of August to have my entire body's blood drawn for my RPL testing and hopefully EVERYTHING will be back by early September and I'll go meet with the MFM with a diagnosis or for more testing to try to get one and we can make a plan.  My OB promises that the MFM she refers to does not take forever to get people in, so she wants to wait until the bloodwork is back to send the referral.  I know it makes sense but I'm not good at being patient, so that is my challenge for at least the next 5-6 weeks.

On a happier note, I've lost 5lbs in the past 2 weeks and am doing well with keeping on track to lose 15lbs by my vacation in September- woo hoo!!

  • @jbasore1123 - Thanks for the check in.  Fingers crossed that I get my BFP in the next few days... I swear all I see are pregnant women everywhere and it hurts my heart each time I see them and think of how lucky they are to not have had their "innocence" stolen from them :(  How are things with you?  Any updates?

@MrsG80inTN- Fingers crossed for you!!! And sorry to hear that you didn't get any answers :(

@sunflwra - Congrats on the weight loss!!  And special ((Hugs)) to you for all you have been through lately.

Yeah.. I was pretty pissed off. I supposedly am working for a top fortune 500 company that puts its employees first but its a huge load of BS. I have my fingers crossed for everyone on here and I hope we all get our Rainbow babies sooner then later. I just unfortunately think my focus needs to be elsewhere for awhile to work on stuff that in the long run will benefit our future kiddos better :)
