Late to the teething game

I'm just wondering if any of you noticed a change in poop around the time a tooth cut through?

DD finally cut her first tooth yesterday and today she's been pooping like crazy! I can't think of anything new she's had to eat and the only thing I've been giving her more of is water.

Could it be caused from teething drool?

It can be because of drool. Many mom's say their kids get diarrhea when they cut teeth. It could also be because of the extra water making her stools softer.

Yes! We are on teeth 6&7. Diarrhea like whoa. Very normal.

Ah - maybe this is why my DD has the odd runny poop. She will normally poop once a day but lately she's pooping twice and the second one is always runny. I couldn't figure it out because she was in good spirits and she didn't eat anything out of the ordinary. Interesting

We went from once a day to 5 times today... All runny/mucusy. I'm definitely hoping it's just from her teething.

I'm glad she's not the only one though, makes me worry less that she may have an illness.

My DD has runny, diaper filling poop like 5-7x a day when teething. It was horrible last week and she's been waking multiple times the past few nights so I think she's breaking her 9th tooth now. It got so bad I was giving her only formula and cereal bc the fruits and veggies were making it so much worse. Now she's back to normal.
