UGH! SO Frustrated!

So our FET that we pushed back for months and months so that I would be able to do it over the summer was delayed due to my TSH being out of whack (which it hadn't been for YEARS!). Frustrating. Well I started taking a higher dose of Synthroid and my numbers looked like this:

Initial REALLY high reading: 5.19
Recheck 2 days later: 4.3
Another recheck 2 days later: 5.3
2 weeks and an upped dose of meds later: 2.5 YAY!!!
1 week later: 1.6 EVEN MORE YAY!
they cut back on my dose a hair (cut by a 1/2 pill per week) because I was dropping so quickly.
today I found out my TSH is: 4.3

WTF!!

I start my Lupron shots tomorrow. 
RE wants my number under 2.5.
So basically if in 9 days, my TSH isn't back down (this is the day that we go in for consents) I'm delayed AGAIN.

DH thinks my # was flukey this time because I was REALLY dehyrated, but I just don't know what to think. My doctor raised my medication dose again. I guess we'll see.

I just wanted to vent. I'm SO praying that everything works itself out.

I'm sorry it's coming down to the wire for you.  I hope it all works itself out and that you're able to have your FET.

(((hugs))) That's very frustrating! I saw my endo for the first time today, and she told me one thing I'd never heard before, which is that all vitamins should be taken at least 4 hours past the thyroid meds, as they can seriously screw up absorption. Apologies if this is old news to you, but she barely tweaked my meds today because she thought my bouncy TSH might be due to when I took my supps.

Thanks, @pblge! My endo did tell me that. I take my vitamins at night and my Synthroid in the am.

At this point I'm doing anything I can!! I'm even eating a low fiber diet to assist in absorption. UGH.

Ugh, how frustrating Sunny!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've found that the time of day that I get my blood drawn at can really affect my readings? Are the draws being done at the same time of day? I get higher readings the further away from eating I am. So if it's just before lunch, or late afternoon, it can be higher than if it's soon after having breakfast (when I usually get it checked). Apparently I'm not the only one that experiences this?

I hope it stabilizes soon!

Sorry, I meant that it's usually lower after having just eaten breakfast! Higher if it's been awhile since I've eaten. When is your next draw?

Hey girl! Long time no say! I'm so excited you are posting here

I was taking 0.88 plus an extra pill a week and my numbers were dropping steadily.

Doctor got nervous that it would drop to low and told me to cut it a 1/2 a pill a week so I was on 0.88 + 1/2 a pill per week.

Now I'm on 100 a day with an extra pill of .88 a week.

Who knows how it will all shake down.

I just got word today that my thyroid is elevated to 2.70. I just don't get it. I'm on 88mcg of Synthroid, but it's being increased to 100 today. I'm going to search for some natural remedy. I'm so sick of being on medication!!!

Dang it... I should have eaten something before the draw!
