RH Factor

Simple question and I'm just looking for clarification. I found out today that I have a blood type of A-. Does this mean I am RH negative? I didn't get a chance to ask the doctor when I saw her today and I was doing some research at home after my appointment. I believe I am, but just wanted to double check with you ladies as well. Thank you!! :)
Me - 28 and DH - 31
Happily Married - 9/4/2010
BFP 5/30/2014 - EDD 2/4/2015

    Yes, that means you are RH negative. No big deal, you will just get a Rhogam shot at 28 weeks, and close to delivery. Also, if you have any major spotting you should let your doctor know so you can get a shot. I had to have my first at 5 weeks this time.

    Thank you. Everything I was reading was leaning that way but it's so much easier when you can get a simply yes or no answer. :) I didn't know about the major spotting. I will watch out for that. Thank you again, @kismetjess!! :)

    If your dh/bf has rh+ blood type you need the shot. If he is rh- too you are good
