Sick Kid Question

Okay, I just need to double check...a toddler vomitting (2x so far) without fever doesn't yet warrant a doctor's call, right? I *think* the culprit was an overripe strawberry at breakfast, but we were at the hospital visiting DH's grandfather yesterday. We were only in the cardiac wing, so I didn't think anything of taking DS with us, but now I'm a tad worried he could have caught a bug. (For mobile users, DS is 2 years old.) I'm going to look up the BRAT foods and try to get something back in his tummy shortly. Is there anything else I need to do?

Yeah ds was throwin up with a high fever. And the docs didn't seemed phased at all with the throwing up! (They did with the fever)

If anything you could call in and just give them the info and see what they say. But I wouldn't worry too much and think looking up BRAT foods is good. And keep track of wet diapers.

Agreed. 

I'd hold off on the doctor.  Watch for a fever or other signs.

Hold food and liquids for an hour after he gets sick.  It could just start the cycle again. 

I've asked my sister-in-law this questions before (she has 4 kids), and her answer was "Kids throw-up, you may never know what caused it."

Oh good! I wanted to ask how he was doing. Glad it came and went. E's done that before too.
