Heavy bleeding with twins?!

I am 8 weeks and 5 days pregnant with twins and bleeding extremely heavy. Anyone else have this happen and still have a positive outcome?

    No experience but FX all is ok. Put in a call to your OB.

    IUI #2 February - Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel: BFP 1st beta-25, 2nd beta-56, 3rd beta-45, miscarriage
    IUI #3 April - CD3 U/S 4-10. Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel CD11 - Cancelled.. TI w/5 follicles-BFN
    IUI #3.1 May - CD3 U/S 5-6, Follistim start 5-11 thru 5-17, u/s 5-18 3 mature w/ a close 4th, IUI 5-20 - BFP!
                 Beta #1 12dpo - 164 & progesterone - 89!, Beta #2 16 dpo - 1189, 5w3d - u/s shows TWINS!
                 6/19- u/s showed heartbeats! Baby A 111 & Baby B 118, both measuring 6w1d
                 7/3- Baby A hb 170, Baby B hb 166 - both measuring perfect.
                 7/18 - Baby A 165, Baby B 171 - both measuring right on track & moving all around!

    I agree, you should call your doctor.  FX for you that everything's ok!

    Since you asked, this is just anecdotal of course, but my friend had a scare with a lot of bleeding toward the end of first tri, she ended up going to the hospital since it was overnight.  Both babies were totally fine, not sure they really determined the cause of the bleeding either.  I really hope everything works out well and your babies are both doing great!

    FX that everything is fine! I did have bleeding with twins during my last pregnancy, and it resulted in a vanishing twin. Hopefully, it's nothing, and both babies are fine in there!

    I had really heavy bleeding last week like as bad as a period, I thought for sure I was losing one or both of them.  But they both had strong heartbeats 2 days in a row, I had back to back US with my OB and RE.  Both Dr.s said it could be from a busted blood vessel and also that its is not uncommon with twins because your hormones tend to be higher and you have 2 placentas that are snuggling in around this time.

    @chickyclg‌ we were in ER last night for this. On top of it Sarah has an overstimulated right ovary that after the 2hr ultrasound caused her extreme pain through the night. Zero pain with initial bleed. Worst part is we are on vacation 3 hrs from home w friends and family. Praying bleeding stops soon. I've never seen so much blood. We are 8w3d and babies were in great shape but saw the bleed to top of uterus. Just need it to clot.


    10 medicated IUI's (3 with injectables). 
    IUI #1 (medicated) Jan. 2013-BFP!!!!- Beta's didn't double, MTX shot for possible ectopic.
    8 IUI's between April 13-April 14 = BFN 
    IUI #10 and final before IVF, injectables May 2014- BFP!!!!  TWINS!!!!

    7 week ultrasound showed 2 wonderful heartbeats!
    8 weeks to the ER with vaginal bleeding while on vacations!  Diagnosed SubChorionic Hemorrhage.  Babies are both great.
    9 week ultrasound showed both babies are still great.
