TTC has officially started!!

Just wanted to share the exciting news that I am officially off BC as of today!! Even though I know it will take some time for my body to regulate and really it will probably take me even longer to actual conceive, however, I am so excited to be on the road of TTC!!!! My biggest obstacle will be seeing all the baby bumps around me...

Good luck! I just came off BCP in Mayvand just ovulated three days ago, so hang in while your body adjusts!

I also HIGHLY recommend charting your bbt. If your first cycle is long and weird like mine, it will give you some peace of mind.

GL! It's kind of crazy to make the decision to actively try. We made that decision last week and it's so freaky to actually be doing why we have been trying to prevent for so long!

Congrats on this big decision! I really recommend temping.

Also, definitely jump in on our WTO (waiting to ovulate) and 2WW (2 week wait) threads! They happen daily, so just find which one you belong to, the correct day, and jump on in. They are great for letting out frustrations and asking questions.

This. I went off BCP on 5/26 and my first cycle was 34 days. I started BBT on about day 29 but at that point it was too late to tell me anything (as it turns out i had already ovulated). I took a totally uncalled for HPT on day 33 and then my temp dropped and i got my period on day 34.

Now, in my second pill-free month, i have no idea what to expect for cycle length, since i likely haven't straightened out yet, so i'm temping daily and am starting OPKs at day 9 (today) just so that i can figure out what's going on. Weird things can happen to your cycle for the first few months off of the pill, so don't worry if it happens to you. Hoping you get KU quickly!

Same here! My husband and I have been married 3 years but together for 10. We were so careful all along to not get pregnant that finally making the decision to TTC is so freaky! It's even more strange when our parents start asking when we'll have a baby! We went from being in HS and them telling us no sex or to be safe to 10 years later being married and them asking us to have a baby!

I just got off BC about 2 weeks ago. I had what started as my normal pd but only last 2 days. I should be ovulating in 4 days and next PD in 18 days...we'll see! I'm using the My Days app on my iPhone.
