My 7 week old DD is EBF. I'm headed back to work part time in September and I'd like her to start taking a bottle occasionally (would also be nice to get out some
I've tried giving her them twice, once at 4 weeks and once at 6 weeks. I tried a Tommy Tippee and a Dr. Browns both size 1 nipples. I watched the video and did my best to do paced feeding, however she had a horrible time with it! It's not that she refuses, it's that milk spills out of her mouth, she chokes and spits up a ton. Even after I really tried to follow the paced feeding guidelines. Any tips? Is this normal for some babies and she'll just figure it out as she gets older? She did have a significant posterior tongue tie lasered at 1 week and has a high palate, so I wonder if it's related? DS had to be supplemented from birth so I never had this trouble with him. Thanks!
