Can I come back?

I didn't post a ton before but kinda fell off when work got busy this spring. Now I'm home for the summer and missing "talking" to you and reading about other kids Norah's age! Seems like most of my mom friends have kids my son's age and not hers. I may need to branch out!

My son will be in preschool this fall and we continue to struggle with my daughter's gross motor skills development. She has made progress and we met with a specialist a couple of weeks ago so I'm feeling better. I'm hopeful she'll take steps by her second birthday.

Speaking of, I started a Pinterest board for her birthday. I'm undecided on theme (which will be cake, invites and napkins only). Cats, cows, rainbows or pumpkins?

Anyway, I should be around more.

I am not sure what we will do. Norah loves cows, cats, and rainbows, but I love pumpkins. haha I figure this may be my last chance to choose.

I was. We went and it was MAGICAL! Seriously, best decision ever even if saying Disney is magical is a tad trite! We had such a fun time. My son was in heaven on rides and meeting his fav characters. He asks often when we can go back (he will be waiting a while... If only budgets were unlimited!) My daughter was more timid with some but loved Minnie Mouse so much that I didn't care that She refused pics with Goofy and Pluto. We went the first week of June and it wasn't crowded yet. Since I teach, school year trips aren't ideal. I'm glad the Midwest starts earlier/gets done earlier than many others.
