Helen Keller Hospital Sheffield, AL

This is my first pregnancy and decided on having an elective c section. I will be going to Helen Keller Hospital. Has anyone had a planned c section at this hospital and can you tell me what I can expect, from the moment you arrive at the hospital and so on? Also, would you recommend Helen Keller hospital? Thanks!! :)

    I had 1 elective and 1 emergency c section. But that was 11 and 12 yrs ago. I did however have my tubes untied there last September, now I'm 35 weeks and delivering there again aug 1. No major complaints. Nice staff. They'll take good care of u. :)

    My mom had 2 c-sections there using Dr. G. He was great and I have always heard wonderful things about him.

    I have also heard great things with Dr. Aldridge and Keith... I delivered at ECM but I will be more than happy  to ask a couple of friends who had c-sections there!

    Also, if you dont mind me asking why are you having an elective c-section?
