Babies on the Brain

Am I Out?

So 5 days late for AF and a BFN at two days late, today I wore a tampon to work in case she showed when I took it out there was the slightest, like not even there pinkish traces mixed in with milky slightly sticky CM and some light light brown traces also. Does this mean I'm out :( and it's AF on her way

Help

I tested bfn at three days late, going to test again in the morning but I've heard of people that have had many negatives and still been pregnant after being quite late. I'm asking if anyone has experienced this first hand :)
  • Yay your pregnant congrats! 8-|

Is this sarcasm, I expected people to be kind and understanding on these forums
  • How would we as an internet bored know if your pregnant when the pregnancy test says negative?

As I said, it was negative at three days late. Some woman take longer for hormone to show. I'm simply asking for people to comment their experiences first hand of having getting a bfn and then a bfp after period was late. It's all I'm asking
  • Nope Never

Nothing in your OP says anything about whether or not anyone has had a BFN followed by a BFP a few days later. It only asked if you "were out." We have no way of knowing if you're pregnant or not, but based on the info you provided (you took a test and got a BFN) I'm going to go with the test results.

I was getting to that part of my question x but thank you for your response. This community is very different to babycenter no one seems to support each other I'm shocked

I'm in bed at the moment as it's 2am so no not right now and as for your Cm question, no not like school glue. It wasn't sticky, just wet but milky.

I'm on babycenter... it's **so** hard not to snark there. Once you learn literally 2 things about how the female body works, you are beyond babycenter. IDK why I still post there...

ANYWAY -- if you are temping & confirmed O, and your temps are still high, and AF is truly late, I'd go see a doctor. If you aren't temping, you probably O'd later than you normally do. NBD.
  • I just saw someone's blood tinged CM with the title 'is this a ectopic pregnancy?' On BabyCentre. I'm glad as hell this place isn't like BC.

random lurker from another board, but you should NEVER use a tampon when you are not actually on your period. That can dry you out so much that you actually take a few layers of cells from your vagina with it when you remove it, and it puts you at risk for TSS. You could really make yourself sick, not to mention the fact that it sounds horribly uncomfrtable.

  • Last cycle, I was 4 days late due to stress at my job. Your cycle can change at the drop of a hat. I would wait another week. If you are still concerned, talk to your doctor.

@lgsdesigner‌ - That's super helpful! I always suspected that could happen, and I'm easily stressed out ... I was going to give it a go without charting for a bit (it just sounds like so.much.darn.work) but maybe that is unwise. Thank you for sharing!!

There is no such thing as "supportive" on this board.. everyone is out to be a rude.. that's why they are here after all.. at least that is what I've noticed. You should check out [link removed by a mod] they are more supportive there.

You certainly don't have to stay if you feel all you've gotten here is rudeness. Some of us prefer the more straightforward, factual discussion that happens on these boards. To each their own.

I was 8 days late once...not pregnant. For me, it was because of travel. Flying home for a weekend and back. Even without stress, any change in routine can affect your cycle.
