Hello Ladies!
I have been lurking here since my loss in January and I have been grateful for this board. I've been posting with the August Angels but wanted to do a quick intro so that I can also give support to the larger board.
I am 34 (my husband is 35 and a doctor), and I am working on my Ph.D. We have an adorable lab mix rescue who is the center of my world (besides my DH!). We live in the Northeast and have been fixing up our house ourselves. After our loss, we really threw ourselves into kitchen renovations, and that's been very gratifying. Now I am enjoying my vegetable garden.
In terms of my medical history, I have always had irregular cycles and was concerned about getting and staying pregnant. It was a wonderful surprise when I got pregnant the first month we were using OPK's and saw strong heartbeats up until 2 days before I MC'd naturally. My doctor was completely noncommunicative when I was having spotting starting in week 8/9,never gave me a bloodtest, etc, didn't "believe" in progesterone supplements. After the MC, I found a new doctor in a small practice who is more concerned about my hormone levels, particularly progesterone. My labs were normal on day 3, but I had low progesterone on day 21. I am going to begin Clomid in a few days. I'm really anxious about that.
I hope you have a lovely 4th of July weekend, and I will look forward to offering support where I can.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I may have some Clomid questions etc. when I have immersed myself into this world. I am working on a Ph.D. in anthropology/archaeology in Pennsylvania but living out of state for my husband's medical residency.
@Lalalady54--my DH is in internal medicine. It's the start of the 3rd year for him. He has a rough schedule but he handles it so well. I'm very proud of him. We just finished a month of night float, and I am incredibly grateful to have him with me in the evenings again.
