Independence Day from the ex!

Hi all.
I've lurked and answered a thread here and there but dont think I've introduced myself.
I married at 19 and had 3 kids with him. Awful marriage, awful divorce, lots of coparenting issues ensued. He fell off the grid 3.5 years ago and only seemed to reach out when he had an audience to appeal to and accused me of parental alienation,
A LOT has happened including ugly and documented reasons why his presence is to the kids' detriment. I remarried almost 2 years ago, have an 11 month old baby girl with DH & am 9 weeks PG with another.
We approached XH through my lawyer about stepparent adoption in February which he quickly shot down. As soon as DCSS levied his joint bank acct with wife #3, he asked if he could take us up on our offer, ONLY if I returned the $600 taken in the levy, wiped the arrears clean ($30k), and recalled the failure to appear warrant for contempt/not paying support ($25k). We jumped on it.
Yesterday, I signed the stipulation for family court and picked up the 3 notarized waivers of his parental rights, giving DH and me all we need to proceed with adoption.
I know 4th of July is about the country's independence but HOLY TIMING. I'm in disbelief and so excited. With all I've read here, I don't know any other people could fully appreciate what I'm feeling right now.
