1st accident in underwear

Today is DS's first day in underwear. He had one accident this afternoon and just stood there peeing on the kitchen floor. I expect accidents of course but curious, do they usually just have a few before they "get it" or is it more dependent on every child is different. I expect more but dont want him to get discouraged if it keeps happening.

My first had just a few. My 2nd & 3rd had only 1 pee on the floor accidents. All 3 kids were under the age of 2 when they PT. So in my experience I wouldn't find it odd at all. Congrats on how well he's doing!!

Thanks so much. We just finished day 1 with 2 accidents at home. The good news is he did tell me sometimes when he had to go. He is just shy of 3 so I think he gets it I just have to keep at it.
