Question on saline sono.....

Hi ladies- I finally took the plunge and called the RE yesterday to get the ball rolling on an FET (as a side note, I can't believe I actually did it and did not chicken out. I've been struggling a bit with when I think it would be the "right" time to get pregnant again.)......glad I called bc the first appt I could get was for August 11th. So my question; is there a certain point in the cycle the saline sono has to be done? I was hoping to use my Aug cycle to get all of my testing done but will prob be around cycle day 8 when we go in.....so wondering if its not going to be feasible. Any insight?

So exciting JB!! I couldn't believe how relatively stress free the FET was compared to my fresh cycles, I hope the same for you!

I had my saline sono on CD10 of my pre-cycle testing, so I was able to get everything done the month before CD1 of our FET cycle. Sounds like your timeline would be similar.

Our RE does the saline sonogram between cycle day 6 and 12. I did the testing the same month as I started FET #1. Good luck with your appointment!!

Thanks @ccam‌ - I was thinking I may be able to do it with next cycle if I had to. Let me serif I have this straight......if I get my period August 4th (ish).....,ill have my OB run cycle 3 bloodwork just to have it done (in case, god forbid there is an issue (since this is how I think now)......go to my appt the 11th, RE-do remaining bloodwork in Aug. start next period around Aug 31......with that cycles can do sono....and then from there they will check me mid cycle to see if I ovulated and then things begin? From there it's about 6 weeks until transfer, correct?

Thanks @PennyLane26‌ ! It's very surreal for me to think of a sibling for LO..... This was a huge step for me and now that I've done it I just hope it all goes smoothly. Oh IF nerves, I have not missed you

Ours is timed between bleeding and ovulation so right around day 6-10 I think. Good luck. I too was surprised how hard it was to make that phone call.

Yup! Sounds about right! BW on day 21 of your cycle to make sure you ovulated then you can start lupron. About 6 weeks from that until pregnancy test, about 4 weeks from start of lupron until transfer.

Mine was around day 6 when I was on BCPs.
