Bump Block Question

So when you block someone do they know you block them? Can they see and respond to threads you post? When I tried blocking I can still see when they post just not what they post and I wonder if the same is true for the blockee? I like how when you block someone from FB they basically don't exist to you and you don't to them. I don't like this half exist stuff. Can you make it so that people you block just don't show up at all?

It doesn't matter who you blocked.

I don't think they know that you blocked them. I'm not sure about the rest of your questions, sorry. Maybe @LadyXaverian‌ can answer?

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you ignore someone, you shouldn't be able to see any of their posts. I'm not sure if they can see yours or not... I can ask on the mods board, though.

Ok so when I block someone I still see their name where a post would go but no words. And if they start a post I see their whole post.

Can the person who was blocked see the same thing?

Like what's the point of an ignore or block feature if I can still see their threads? If I want to block someone I kind of don't want to see them at all. Isn't that the point?

Another block question. If you block or ignore or whatever, can they tag you? I don't have anyone I want to block, just curious how it all works just in case I want to.

It's okay. I've just seen the advice to block thrown out there a few times... but it doesn't seem to do the trick but maybe I'm missing something.

I can still see posts, but not what that person wrote in the text box. It's weird. If you block someone they should be invisible to you.

@Blazerbay214‌ you can see the quote.. and I think that's okay.. I'm not sure how you can stop that.

If/when I use the block feature I want them invisible to me and me to them. Especially threads they start. On mobile you can't see who starts the thread. If I block someone that means I don't want to see threads started by them.

I don't think that you are invisible to them and fb is the same way. I haven't blocked anyone on here, but have on fb (a few people) and they can still see your posts as long as they are public, you just won't see theirs and they can't comment on yours.
