I voted other because I use a ring sling and a k'tan. I have an ergo for when he's a bit bigger because I tend to like the structured carriers better. I also have a mei tai around somewhere from when c was tiny.
LO is very small and it's summer, so the k'tan for now. I'm interested in the Tula but DH likes the Ergo. There is a baby wearing class in our area where you can try all the carriers, so we'll probably do that.
I have a ktan and a beco and just got an ergo as a gift. Haven't used any yet since ktan says 8 lbs and LO just hit 7.5 lbs. her head seems to flop too much in beco with the ergo newborn insert. She wasn't a fan.
I've used an ergo, tula, ring sling, woven wrap, and a mei tai with both babies. So far this time just the sling because it's been 100+ degrees every day.
Not even gonna apologize for my crazy hair and exhausted face. Babies are serious work!

Yes I saw one of these in my area too in SF but it's not until late July.
I have an ergo, ring sling, moby, and mei tai. I started wearing baby as soon as we got home from the hospital, usually in the ring sling as it's the faster for me to get him in and out of
I have a ring sling, tula, ergo and ktan breeze. I love alllll of them. Right now the ring sling is my favorite- it's so fast. It seems like my fabric gets bunches in the ring though. DF with ring sling:
@H&H2014 what part of the Bay Area are you in? I'm on the Peninsula and Blossom Birth Center has a baby wearing group which I think meets monthly, probably this weekend. They also do in-home consultations where you can try carriers.

Hey there fellow peninsula dweller! that is the class I was talking about. I'm up in Pacifica but have been to blossom a few times pre-birth to try and find a doula. I haven't made it there with LO yet. I'm a ftm still figuring all this out. LO hates the car seat so I'm hoping baby wearing will be saving grace - she nurses all day (just about 4wks old) and I need to be able to get up off this couch and rejoin the world outdoors. Lol!

I'm in a similar situation, although LO is fine once she's in her car seat. She doesn't enjoy being strapped in, although I'm hoping that will improve as I get better at it. Mine is also close to 4 weeks and I want more mobility. Our house is a bit far from stuff so I haven't really gone out much on my own.
Peanut shell baby sling. Found it at a consignment store for $10! They're normally $50 at dept stores. You can also nurse with this which is handy.
This is us at a wedding last Saturday. A few people were touching his little feet and I didn't notice he had a little poo on them til halfway thru the reception :-??
we have been using our ring sling because Bennett has been too small for his tula but I put him in it yesterday and he finally fits! so we will probably start using that more too
@CAMag when we first moved back to the Bay Area we lived in Foster City. DH worked there, then in San Mateo. Then his job moved to Palo Alto, so we moved a little further south.
Baby bjorn which I used with both of my previous LOs. Tried ring slings but never felt baby was secure in them. Want to try another carrier that I can BF in but some of these carriers don't fit be BC I'm plus size. Any suggestions?
I have the K'Tan Breeze. At first I thought it was too small because the mesh side isn't as stretchy, but I think it's okay. I've only used it around the house for like 15 min at a time though. I'm a little nervous to try it in public in case she gets too hot or fussy.
My sister gave me her duplicate Infantino carrier, but I haven't even opened it yet. If that doesn't work or when she gets bigger, I still plan to get the ergo.
i am using the ktan now and i really like it. i have taken lots of walks with baby boy and the dog and he feels really secure and snug in there. i will use the bjorn when he is a bit bigger.
I have too many carriers lol. I took back my k'tan though and will probably do the same with the moby. I just don't feel they're secure enough. I like the ergo w/insert but want to get a ring sling too.
We've been using the Ergo carrier and love it! As suggested, I put a blanket in the bottom since LO isn't quite big enough for it. I have a Moby, but haven't used it yet.
@katekat8721 and other twin mommies have you ever seen this? someone in my local babywearing group just ordered one so I haven't seen it in person and I don't know how ergonomic or comfortable it is but it looks pretty sweet https://www.weego.com/en/produkte/weego_twin.php

I've heard of it! I just don't like the price tag lol. A twin mom in my group though is selling one, but she said she never used it so maybe that's not a good sign
I have 2 wraps (size 4&6), that I have been using. They are a nice breathable cotton. I have an ergo for whrn he's bigger. I think I have a ring sling somewhere, but have never used it.
PgAL (MC@7w 29/10/11 - lost you before we knew we had you)
I wish I would have started wearing DS sooner. I am purchasing a Sleeping Baby Productions ring sling on Monday that was listed for sale locally. DS will be 5 weeks Sunday and is about 8 1/2lbs.
Re: What are you using for baby wearing?
Married DH 7/30/11
CSC arrived 5/7/12

Great pic!
