To GTKY, or Not GTKY...that is the question!

Hi all,
I am wondering how folks feel about the Friday GTKY thread. Typically I do 4 questions + "what's up this weekend." Over the months, participation has dropped a bit and I wonder if it's a thread worth keeping up. This poll is to get your opinion on if we should continue GTKY Fridays, or not, and get your feedback. I will NOT take it personally if we want to cancel this thread!

I don't always participate, but I typically read through the responses. If I don't participate, it's usually because I don't have interesting responses! Some of your questions are hard!

I have wondered if you would keep this up after Simone is born. Not that having a baby keeps you from Bumping, but it may be a bit harder for you to reliably post each week.

One option is just to keep it at 2 questions - one random question and the typical weekend question. Makes it a bit easier on everyone.

I enjoy reading but can't say I will reliably participate. I like the idea of reducing the # of questions.

@ATXMommas and @ball.and.chain - I was thinking the same thing - maybe 1 or 2 questions + what's up for the weekend. It'd be easier for sure! I'll see what else comes in. I may see if I can get someone to handle it for a month or so after Simone is born, and then go from there. Once I"m back at work in January it should be easy to keep it up... but time will tell! Thanks for the responses so far!

I like the idea of 1-2 questions... So silly... But it seems less daunting. Which if GTKY Friday is my biggest worry, I think I am doin' alright!

I appreciate the suggestions above and my thoughts are along the same vein.  Sometimes it can be too much for me to type more than very much, and I read some but it is hard for me to sit down long enough to read a ton.

I love the GTKY - but I admit sometimes read or respond over the weekend when the Bump is quiet but I still want to "stop by".

I love learning more about folks though so I'd hate to see it go :-)

I like to read it but I worry about the amount of personal information I am putting out on a public forum if I engage in it every week. Maybe I am a bit silly about it but that's why I don't post to it very often.

I vote keep it up in some way.  There are a lot of new faces here and a lot of people that have been around awhile and although I only participate if I have good answers for the questions I like to read responses to get to know everyone better.
