Hello world! EDIT: pictures worked!

So on Tuesday I had a perfectly normal day. I went to work, I went to the Giants game, I went home and went to bed. Nothing weird going on symptom-wise. Until I woke up at 2am and my water broke. Contractions started about 10 minutes later and kept getting stronger and stronger. I called the hospital, they didn't have a bed and wanted to send me to a location 40 minutes away. I called my husband to tell him what was going on (he was on his last business trip before baby). I called my sister for a ride. By he time she arrived 15 minutes later, I couldn't stand up without help. We went straight to the original hospital, and I got put on a bed in the hallway. The Dr. Checked me out, and I was fully effaced and dilated and the team started moving FAST. I had a pretty healthy baby boy, and my amazing baby sister got to see it all happen and made the best backup labor partner ever. William Steven "Billy" was born at 4:24 a.m., 5 lbs, 9.9 oz, 19.25 inches and a full head of the most beautiful strawberry blonde hair. He's under observation in the nursery because he decided to arrive 4 1/2 weeks early, but hasn't had any medical interventions, they're just keeping a close eye on his breathing. ETA: mobile bumping, pictures aren't working and will be added ASAP.
