Arms reach co sleeper

Has anyone used one if your bed has a wooden frame around the mattress?  I'm not sure if I should buy one.  Will the straps under the mattress work?

I don't have a co sleeper, but DD's bed rail uses the straps and it works fine with her slat foundation bed and wood frame.

not sure how high up your frame goes. My concern is that your LO will hit head on the hard wooden frame & sounds like there would be a gap between your mattress & the cosleepers perimeter frame. The gap is a potential issue for body parts (hand, leg...) to get stuck in.

The strap has a rectangular plate at one end, and goes across to the other side of the bed.
