cd question

so its been a few years since ive TTC and had a question about my cycle days. if i was spotting in the morning, but actually started bleeding by that night, would that day be considered my first cycle day, or would i start the next day? thanks!

Usually CD1 is the day you see red or need a pad/tampon

Think about this. All bleeding is one day, why would you say you didn't start until the next day? That doesn't even make sense.

im asking if i start counting cd1 as the day that i started bleeding at night OR if i start counting cd1 the next day..the first full day of bleeding.. not sure how else to say it..

Some REs do consider CD 1 to be the next day if it starts after 7 pm

Well, your OP said by that night. If you now want to know what day if you start in the middle of there night, that's a different question and might depend on when you go to bed but would generally be whenever you found it.

I usually count CD1 as whatever day red flow starts and/or I have enough "spotting" to need a maxi pad. I rarely go to bed before midnight but use midnight as my divider between days for everything on my chart (period, sex, symptoms, etc).
