__TTC AGAIN CHECKIN 7/2__

This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc. 

A check-in will be posted every week. Please send me a PM or reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC. 

QOTW:  What are your plans for the 4th or Canada Day? Eating anything yummy? Recipe please.

Ducky719 – 6/25 No updates for me. Af is due in 8 days...

Jessylane8- 6/25 CD 11 and hoping I don't O before CD23 because I will be OOT and away from DH. 

mnj05 – 6/25 I expect AF within the next three days, so HSG is probably 13-16 days out from today. DH's blood tests came back normal which is awesome because two years ago it was all low! He had his analysis today. 

We have come up with a strict budget and should have all of our money saved by September so I'm hoping for birth control late August and stims in September. 

TTC, with treatments

Bellalou – 6/18 Aiming for a fresh cycle on the house in October.

blueberries8 - 5/29 - FET #3 was a no-go because none of the embryos continued to develop after thawing  I stopped my meds and now I am just waiting to get AF and on June 12 I meet with the RE to come up with a new plan.

Efhoping2010 – 6/25 NEW PLAN!  One day work up at CCRM in Colorado mid July with Dr. Sch.  So now we are looking at an IVF cycle start date of August with IVF/ICSI/PESA in September and then CCS testing and a FET in October.

 

emwaiting – 6/18We are currently off all meds and just seeing what will happen on our own.  Praying for that little miracle to happen.  You know be one of those that can say "it will happen when you quit trying!" ha  I will be 6 wks tomorrow from my last period so that is frustrating that it won't come on it's own.  If it isn't here in another week then they will do a blood test to make sure I'm not prego and then do the meds to start my period.  Kinda hard to have that miracle without my period or ovulating.  We had to do IVF to get our DS so we are thinking we will have to go down that road again so time to save $$ again!  
fullfhope – 6/4 - I have my follow up with RE on 6/12.

itsmevkb -6/25 The mock transfer and hysteroscopy were all normal so I'm on track to start estrace in late July and due a FET mid August.

Jenny935 – 6/25 Hanging out in the 2WW, waiting to start peeing on things. 

 

kmc84 – 6/25 still on OCPs for suppression for FET. I have a phone consult later today and should get my calendar by Monday. I'll start estrogen pills and Vivelle patches next week.

LauraBeth1401 - 6/25 Started Lupron on Tuesday.  Still aiming for 7/23 FET.

luvboston – 6/25 Waiting 3 weeks for next dose of humira and hoping I am ovulating again I get tested Monday.

Mayzie15 – 6/25 I have my first official pregnancy in take appt tomorrow. I'm really nervous and know I'm going to be lectured on my age, genetic screenings and testing. I hate seeing the statistics of my age group. Last time the genetics counselor fought really hard for us to do the amino and we said no and are in that camp again. I'm hoping for another U/S and to get the heart rate this time. 

mg0202 -6/18 I think my info got confused with someone else's.  We recently met with the RE and are getting things ready for a FET hopefully in September.

Pam MG - 5/7 - DS IUI tomorrow, feeling really crampy tonight which I am going with is a good thing. We have 3 eggs this time unlike the only one last time.

 

Phishgirl29- 6/25 Planning for my FET cycle which will be in two months. I just have to get my period (any day now) and pass my salinesonogram. If I fail it I'm looking at a LAP. 

trigirl79 - 6/4 - Beta was negative on Tuesday. We're taking a break in June, I'll do temps and OPKs but no meds. AF arrived yesterday, which is actually good news since hopefully it means my body is finally regulated.

MoFree – 6/25 I'm planning IVF #2 in September and will start meds sometime in August. Honestly I have very little expectation of success but feel I have to do another cycle before I can make peace with being OAD.

Cwhitaker27 - 3/12 - 25 weeks today. Had my GTT on Monday. I haven't heard anything back, so far no news is good news. Continuing to be team green!

Eve_Angelique – 6/25 Almost 31 weeks! Eeeeek! Little lady is doing lots of squirming in there. I am just praying that she doesn't come early!!they didn't get good enough pics of her spine, so I had another today, it was so good to see her squirming around in there! 

Kdfecarie, EDD 8/29/14 (CS 8/22/14) -6/25 31 weeks, i cant believe its going by so fast! 

 

carrera317 – 4/30 - Wow. I guess I've been MIA for a while! 22 weeks here and doing ok. It's finally starting to settle into my infertile mind that I just might bring this baby home! Freak out time!!! All tests and our ultrasound have looked great. We went on a nice vacation to the Caribbean for our 10 year anniversary and now are starting to prep for this new one. It looks like I'm amongst good company with a due date of 9/2 but a probable c section the week before (just not the 29th cuz that's MY birthday!). 

Kissies - 4/30 - So I'm 23 weeks now, went to ob this week and my b/p starting to elevate 130/90. I had her check my other arm and it was normal. The elevated arm is the arm I have carpal tunnel in and of course the 3 blood pressure checks made it act up! I got labs done as baseline and all looked good and urine was negative. Still on makena to prevent preterm labor (hate it makes me super emotional and cry like 24 hrs after taking it weekly). I'm afraid I'll be a nervous wreck come 28 weeks because that' when my water broke last time. Trying to stay calm and keep that blood pressure down ) I go back next week because of blood pressure. 

LeoLauren - 1/15 - It's official. BFP x 2! Omg (what I'll be saying a lot for the next 7 months)!

Mnerani – 6/4 - Hard week. Hosting a 300-person international conference in West Africa, missing my baby terribly, my belly and back have broken out in hives from stress, and now I'm sick. Also, we move from Kenya to the U.S. in about a week and our mover just changed our shipment date.  But, I'm feeling little baby kick more and more, which is majorly joyful and I'm looking forward to my life slowing down a little bit so that I can enjoy this pregnancy.

 

Ironmom2be - 4/2 - My update is I'm in limbo between RE & OB. First OB appt isn't for another two weeks. Since I was still spotting last week, my RE offered to have me come in for another u/s, so that's next tuesday (9w) I'm feeling ok, seems like exercising is causing the spotting (my scientific study) so I'm trying to balance staying active enough that I don't feel like a slug and doing too much to cause spotting. I'm tired and nauseous (at times) so I'm just counting my blessings and hoping the 1st tri is over asap so my worries can hopefully fade a little

BabyKsMommy - EDD 11.27.14 - 4/16 - Well we have twins, both with a fetal pole. There also is an empty sac so we are going back on Friday to see how everything looks..

 

ccam - EDD 11.29.14 - 6/25  I'll be 18 weeks on Saturday and doing well!  Feeling some little jabs and kicks.  I have a regular OB appointment this afternoon and my A/S in 2 weeks.

Pennylane26 - EDD 11.26.14 - 6/25-Update: 17.5 weeks and nothing new! HBP is great on meds so far! Feeling great overall.

srveatch – 6/18 I am 16 weeks today and feeling so much better! I had a check up yesterday and BP was a little high but I hadn't been taking my meds.. Bad move I know. I feel good though and am confident it will come down. 
QOTW: I enjoy reading but don't seem to have the time. I love seeing what everyone else is reading so I can get ideas for when I do have time 

 

mdiblasi10 - 6/25 I'm late to the check-in, but I'm a little over 9 weeks today. Still having all day nausea. It was great to see baby girl last Thursday. Only a few more weeks of meds and PIO shots, yay!

My HSG is tomorrow and I'm a little nervous but mostly ready to get it out of the way. That's the last thing we have to do other than save money.

DH's semen analysis came back exactly the same as two years ago. Being a cancer survivor and down one man, I was worried his numbers would've gone way down so I'm happy they're the same!

QOTW: we are going home to visit with friends for the 4th like we used to do. We only get to do it when the holiday falls on a Friday or Saturday where we used to do it every year. No recipes or foods that I'm making, they always make fajitas with the works.

@mnj05 I hope your HSG is as painless as possible! 

Our Update: Got a BFP at 6dp5dt. Beta is 7/7. (Clinic now does first beta when you'd be 4w3d, which is when they used to do the 2nd beta. But for me that's 4th of July and they don't do betas on the weekend. Hence the crazy long wait!) Still checking with wondfos and hoping for good numbers by the 7th.

QOTD: We're invited to a party. The weather might be lousy which would be sad, but then at least I don't have to come up with an excuse for not swimming, because I still haven't figured out how to do that with the gross supps. (Ideas, shoot them my way)

The morning after we slept over in the hospital I got a huge surprise BFP, I guess the meds worked:) If you could have seen me squinting in the hospital room over the pee stick and my iPhone you would have lyao. So far these are the highest hcg I have ever had and clearly the Humira did its job. We of course are very cautiously hopeful but this time seems a tad easier than the rest. I just sent my bloods to Beer and depending on that I might have a very early u/s next week. Fx.

Q: we are prob doing nothing. Tonight we bbq with pineapple chicken onions it was delicious. LO ate a whole one on her own.

Next week starts the third tri for me. It's flying by unbelievably fast- probably because the move from Kenya to the U.S. has been so consuming. We are settling in though and I'm trying to take it easier than I have been. Feeling great, not overly pregnant, and even brave enough to sport a two piece during our daily trips to our neighborhood pool

QOTW: We are doing a big family vacation in Destin, FL for the holiday and the week after. Everyone enjoy the 4th!

@luvboston‌ awesome news! I am new to this group, so can you please add me? Just had my consult with the RE on Monday and once all the paperwork and initial b/w is complete, I wait for AF to start (which should be next week) to start Estrace. Hoping for a FET with our one frobaby in August. ETA: QOTW: My mom, brother and his GF are coming to our house for a cook out. Weather is supposed to be terrible with the tropical storm but we will just hang in the house if the rain is that bad.

Update: started Estradiol and Vivelle today. I'm hoping it's the weather to blame, but I've had a monster headache since this afternoon. I also noticed my pupils are huge and not really constructing at all....wth?!? Anyone else ever deal with that?

QOTW: no plans for the 4th. We are meeting my cousin and her husband on Sunday and hanging out for the day.

I'm also chicken sitting for my neighbors and watching our/my dad's dogs while he is away (we have shared custody since DH and I developed nasty allergies at some point!) and the 80 pounder has a completely torn ACL and is waiting for surgery! Gaaahhhh!

QOTW: We are in vacation right now, DS's first trip to the beach! We're with my parents now at a house they rented but my siblings are slowly trickling in starting tonight. We're going to BBQ here on Friday night since all of us will be here.

We are going to Chicago to visit my family, for better or worse. DH and I met July 4, 2005 and I am looking forward a date at the restaurant where we had our first date.

I started my Delestrogen today.  Hoping between that and lowering my Lupron tomorrow will help the headaches.  It doesn't help I also have an allergy/sinus/cold/nasal thing.  Overall though I'm doing pretty good.

We are having dinner at my parents tomorrow and friends over for a cook-out on Saturday. 

Hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th!

When I had those kind of headaches I would take two acetaminophen two Benadryl and drink a coke it really helped. Also my doc told me to take magnesuim pills.

Update: Just over 18 weeks. Haven't gained any weight on the scale, so that's on my mind. My belly is big and I feel baby moving but still just about 125lbs as I was at transfer, been eating a lot of healthy fats and whole milk dairy, hopefully that makes a difference! BP is still great on meds and I'm feeling really good! A/S in 2 weeks.

QOTW: Happy 4th to those in the US! Staying home on the 4th because of the storm hitting the east coast, but saturday we'll be at the beach by day, fireworks by night. Heading to a cookout on Sunday at my brother's. Excited to see G's reaction to the fireworks!

Update: I am 10 weeks tomorrow and had our weekly ultrasound today. Baby girl was moving all over the place and waving her tiny arms!!! It absolutely made my week. I am so in love already!! 

QOTW: We are going to a wedding tomorrow night and we are both regretting it now. It's an hour and a half away and we (especially me) don't know them very well at all. We both wished we would have sent our regrets instead. I don't want to be away from my little man, especially on a holiday he would enjoy watching. Oh well. Happy 4th and Canada Day to everyone!

Update: Waiting for July AF and planning to go to CCRM either by car or plane in mid July for ODWU pretesting there for IVF/ICSI #4.  

QOTW: We made Poutine and ate Tim Horton's for DH on Canada Day.  On the 4th we will have a bonfire and roast hot dogs and marshmallows and make smores.

Had another ultrasound this week. Baby is looking good, strong heartbeat. Also my SCH has moved away from baby, big relief!

Update: 32 weeks now, its getting closer and closer every day! nothing else to up date right now... Still waiting!

QOTD: we went to some friends and had bbq and fireworks! Itbwas a ton of fun!!! We also went to a carnival during the day with my son, he had a blast! And was a champ with the fireworks! all in all, a great day!
