I was on the depo shot for 6 years . I have decided to try and get pregnant I have been off of birth control for almost 8 months. I was wondering how long has it took for some women to get pregnant after the depo shot?

From what I gather, it can take up to a year to normalize. Don't quote me on that.

I think its anywhere from 9 months to 18 months for the hormones to get out of your system.
