QOTM: Any 4th of July traditions you have?  A place you watch fireworks or annual family cookout?  Or maybe you just stuff your face with your favorite patriotic meal every year?

I can't wait to see all the pinterest fails!  Haven't done mine...never added a picture to my siggy...need to try that asap!  

QOTM - We don't really have any annual traditions.  This year DH works 7a-midnight, so I have no idea what I'm doing! :-(

I'm just sharing for fun, since I won a while back and I'm doing the drawing.  I just love this Pinterest Fail b/c it looks like the ducks are crying tears of sadness.  Or tears of blood.

QOTM: We used to watch the downtown fireworks every year from a hotel bar that sits on a hill and had a perfect view of downtown Dallas.  But now they built apartments blocking the view, so I'm not sure what we'll do.  I may have to find a new tradition...maybe we'll fill up our kiddie pools in the back yard and/or just stuff our faces with hot dogs.

I decided to go with a 4th of July theme for mine! This one cracked me up.

  QOTM: The 4th is the one holiday where both sides of our family all get together. I have 5 siblings and DH is one of 4 so getting all of us together is a big deal! We will grill out and swim at my mom's house and set off fireworks after dark. I can't wait!

All of these pinterest fails crack me up!  I chose the leopard eye makeup because if I try doing anything beyond basic with my makeup, it usually doesn't look right.  Although, I don't think I'd ever want to try animal print eyes!

QOTM:  We don't have any long time July 4th traditions, but my parents bought a lake house back in 2011 that is just an hour and a half away.  So now we spend at least part of the weekend there.  This year on Saturday they are having an air show and fireworks over the lake, so we'll take the boat out and see that.  Plus my family in OK likes to come to TX for the 4th, so the last few years we've had a pretty big gathering.

QOTW: I love watching fireworks at my in-laws cottage. They have one on an island on a lake around here. Its so cozy and wonderful. Me and DH became "facebook official" on the 4th of July 4 years ago so its a fun holiday for us. Our "anniversary" lol

QOTW we usuallybjust watch the fireworks at the fair grounds in town. DH has to work this year so I may be doing it alone

DH is a huge fireworks guy but he doesn't like to just watch them, he likes to set them off. So needless to say we have a truckload of huge aerial fireworks for this Friday. lol

QOTM: No real traditions. We typically have a family get together on or around the 4th. This year my mom is hosting.

As for fireworks, one of the perks of the location of my current home is that it gets a great view of the town fireworks from my front lawn. We are moving, so this will be the last year we get such a great view, and I think I will miss it.

We are packing for Vegas!!!  Woot! Woot!  Also, I wanted to see Tammy, but the reviews are just awful.
