Diagnose my family, please.

Hola. Day 3 of fever for LO (highest was 103.5ish) but it has stayed between 100-101 the rest of the time. She was tired and said her head hurt the first day but happy as a clam after that. I got a fever yesterday and have a headache and pretty bad muscle aches, especially across my shoulders. I don't have a sore throat or a cough, but laughing and the odd cough HURTS right in the center of my chest. My fever has been between 100-102 since yesterday. I spent most of the last wo days in bed except for a few hours. I am very tired. DH has been feeling achy and tired too, and his temperature just started climbing tonight (still low, 99-100). Obviously, thank the lord that it isn't a stomach bug, but what do you think this could be? If dd still has a fever tomorrow I'm calling her doctor since it will have been four days.

Lurking. I work in a pedi er and had a little girl come in with fever, headache, and being tired and she tested positive for strep.

Those are my strep symptoms. The headache with fever is my main indicator.

Get into the Dr now and you should be no longer contagious by July 4 celebrations.

No idea but I hope your whole family gets better fast.  Family-wide illnesses are the suck.

Thanks for the ideas! Her throat looks fine and none of us have a sore throat at all. I just got up and haven't checked her yet (dh has her ) but lets see what today looks like.
