Yeah, both of those tests look like a hot mess to me. I understand wanting to be sure before you start a med, but you're probably gonna need to retest in the AM.

  • @pippacricket  No not testing with ovulation. Just decided to take one at the same time just to see because I assumed my HCG test would turn out negative.
  • If that pink test is an OPK, it is NOT positive. You should probably read the instructions on your tests before you use any more.

I need line spotters! I am so confused because I took an ovulation test which is the pink one and immediately got a positive on it. Then I took an HCG which is the blue strip and got a little light line too! I accidentally dropped the HCG test in the wrong way but it was only in there for a second so that probably didnt have anything to do with it. I took a Clearblue digital 30 minutes after and it said Not Pregnant. I took another HCG strip and still think I see something but my urine was also a LOT lighter than when I first took the tests. Here are some photos. I am excited and my car is being used right now by our roommate so I cant go and buy a dollar store test or first response. All I have are these little test strips. AHH. I am on CD 46 ! SO I was like well I better make sure before I start my Provera. Im a little bit crampy too. I have been on and off since yesterday.

Every single one of your posts has been to ask if we think you could be pregnant. If you can't read a test by now you have more problems than we can help you with.
No need to be rude honey! I can read a test, these are just different from a First Response or any other name brand test so I figured I would go ahead and get some insight.

    Thanks for not helping.

This! I'm watching the World Cup, so I thought I was reading this wrong.

OP, use a pink dye pregnancy test. If you see 2 lines, congratulations and head over to 1st tri. If not, read the newbie blog and learn your cycles.

The pink strip is ovulation and the blue is HCG. I tested with the pink ovulation strip just to see for the heck of it because I assumed my HCG would not have any lines on it as usual. I am on cycle day 46 so I figured I might as well just see if I'm ovulating and having a super odd cycle.

Right. And every OPK that I have ever used is positive only when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. That is not true for your test which is why I am doubting that it's positive and suggesting that you check the instructions.
