My husband and I have been TTC since February. I've been on birth control for 4 years now and before I started on BC I never had regular cycles. I would go sometimes 6+ months without AF. When I was on BC I had a regular period that would last anywhere from 4-7 days; it varied each month. In February when we decided we were ready my OBGYN was sure to remind me that it could take some time (she said three months give or take) to see AF since I was not regular before BC. Exactly three months to the day I got AF, but since then I've had nothing. I'm currently using an OPK and I've had some luck with that. Last month I ovulated but no AF; no PPT either. My hairdresser is also TTC and she had a recommendation from OB to use Pregnitude.
This morning I decided it was time to try it out, so I ordered a month's supply. I've been researching stories and information about it all day. I know each situation is different, but has anyone had a situation similar to mine? If so, do you have any advice? Have you used Pregnitude?
Thank you all so much.
Re: Pregnitude
You know what they call alternative medicine that actually works? Medicine.
In other words, if its a treatment or supplement that my hairdresser/mechanic/friend/plumber/gas station attended suggested, and my doctor didn't, its not going in my body.
I agree with the ladies above: do not do anything without first consulting your doctor. You should also be temping daily! If you are going 60+ days, you need to maybe get another opinion or further testing.

Please remember (and I say this as a member of the health care community) - doctors and nurses are idiots like everyone else. Do your homework and research before you put a potentially unregulated, harmful substance in your body - even if it is recommended by your doctor/midwife/NP, etc. I'm not saying they are wrong, but if I had a dollar for every time I read on here that an OB prescribed Clomid like candy without proper monitoring, or had a doctor prescribe a wrong med for one of my patients (too high dose, wrong med, wrong reason, incorrect/harmful route), I would be rich.
It happens.
At the end of the day, YOU are the only one responsible for your own health. Do your homework and don't reach for silly gimmick bullshit.
