How did your babies adjust to daycare?! DS is scheduled to a start next week and I'm curious what to expect. I know it'll be harder for me than for him, but I am hating the idea that I won't be able to soothe him when he's upset.
I went back to work when DS was 6.5 weeks. I had random family members come watch him so it wasn't quite day care, but he was so little and didn't really "know" these family members either. He did just fine. Now I'm on summer vacation (I teach) and he starts daycare in August. I'm a little worried since I know he will be older so it might affect him more. But at this age I think they're still young enough that they're pretty adaptable.

Had our first baby, Samuel Robert, on April 17, 2014!
For us it was pretty seamless. LO started DC at 12 weeks. Our LO is not really on a schedule, we just let her do whatever - you know, eat when she's hungry, sleep when she's tired. Our daycare center lets her do that so it's really not been bad.
I was very worried b/c she had pretty bad reflux and was very fussy prior to the 3 month mark, but she seems to have evened out and we're off any reflux medication. We don't have reports of her crying inconsolably or anything. I'm told she's an easy baby.
