Legs in crib slats!

Hey ladies!

My not so little guy is constantly rolling around in his sleep and always seems to get his leg through the crib slat.

I have a breathable bumper that we pull all the way up but it doesn't help at all.

Any suggestions?

Oh and here is his one year pic :-)

Re: Legs in crib slats!

  • KJ 's feet go through but she never wakes up stuck. She moves around so much in her sleep. I have no idea how she gets around her crib. I don't have a mesh bumper. Never felt like it was needed.

DD is a mover in her sleep too and gets her legs caught all the time. It doesn't seem to bother her but she likes to prop her legs up while she sleeps (on a pillow, on a toy, on us etc) so I think its a result of her leg just naturally falling after she does that.

Also, we never had a bumper so I'm not sure what to suggest but if it doesn't wake him up I wouldn't worry about it too much.

  • We still use a sleep sack every night and that prevents N's legs from getting stuck. Hers always get stuck otherwise.
  • Thanks!

  • X too but it doesn't bother him and he gets them out on his own. We let him go. He has only gotten stuck once and he was sure to let us know he needed help.
