Does anyone have swelling yet?

Sorry if this is a repeat question.  I looked around and didn't see anything about it.  Is anyone swollen yet?  I just noticed today that my feet and ankles are already swollen and I don't remember it happening this early with DD.  I had HELLP with her, so I think my doctor's office is being overly cautious, but they want me to come in today to check my urine and blood pressure.

I had to take my wedding ring off on Father's day and haven't been able to wear it since.  My feet only swell after a long work day any other day is fine.  It's just my hands right now.

My wedding ring is hit or miss.  My husband has had to help me get it off with dish soap 3 times.  I ordered a fake one 2 sizes bigger and have been wearing that.  I haven't noticed swelling anywhere else yet.

YES.  I asked my OB about this on Friday and he said that it happens and is part of pregnancy - and that in the summer it's worse.  YAY.

he told me that it's nothing to be concerned about unless it's extreme.

Thanks ladies!  Sorry for your swelling, but glad to hear I'm not the only one.  They asked me to call for any swelling or headaches and I honestly thought they would just say, okay, keep an eye on it.  It had me a little worried that they wanted to see me today, but I feel better hearing that other people are experiencing it.

Yup feet are slightly swollen today. I've been monitoring my BP & it's in the normal range. I'm thinking I need to drink more water. I did read putting your feet in a foot bath with Epsom salt can help reduce the swelling.... I will try it!! Anything to help lessen the blow....

I haven't worn my wedding ring for over a month. I can feel the swelling in my hands and feet first thing in the morning or if I'm out in the heat for a while. Heat definitely makes it worse. Thanks, Florida.

My ankles swell after working 12 hr shifts on my feet all night... If I'm not at work, I don't swell at all though...

It must be the heat! I'm from Oregon and the weather has been temperate and I have not been swelling at all. 3 weeks ago I was in Phoenix and my hands were so swollen my ring got stuck and I had a panic attack. I put ice packs on them and they were a little better, but that trip was miserable!

Mines off and on. It's been really hot here, so if I'm outside for a while I notice it in my fingers and toes. If I sit for too long I also notice it in my toes.

ive had some swelling in my feet after work but nothing too crazy, i usually just put my feet up and drink water. it's better to be overly cautious though

Thanks everyone! I just got back from my appt and everything looked good! The did some labs that should be back later this week, but blood pressure and urinalysis were good. Going to keep my feet up and continue to drink lot of water.

Yes! My wedding no longer fits.

My ankles/feet swell if I'm on them too long. Especially with the summer heat.

Yes. My legs and ankles especially. As unsexy and inconvenient as they are, wearing compression hose has made a world of difference. And staying hydrated, but I tend to get puffy if I am not drinking enough.

My hands are swollen in the morning. Not sure why they only swell in the morning but my wedding ring barely fit today. Looks like I'm going to start wearing it around my neck soon.

@Lilwatz‌ - I love the idea of buying a fake ring in a bigger size. Hmmmm maybe I will go up a size in diamond too?? Lol

Yep! My feet are so swollen..mainly from being on my feet all wknd. I'm trying to drink more water to see if that helps. Also, I just finished taking my wedding rings off...it looks like I'm going to have to put them away until after the babies are born. I like the idea of buying a fake replacement...with a bigger stone! lol

I was going to ask the same thing! I didn't have swelling until near the end with DS, & even then, it was minor. But a few days ago, after a long car ride, my feet, ankles & calves were TWICE the size. I'm not exaggerating. I had cankles & there were no bones visible on my feet or ankles. It was scary! It took 2 days to go all the way back to normal. I didn't know swelling could happen this early on, but it's comforting to know I'm not the only one who is experiencing it!

Maybe just a tiny bit - my wedding ring get's tight but I don't know if that's the PG or the humidity here. I do however, have cellulite. SO - that's fun.
