So DH and I aren't sharing our baby's name.... Today sitting around with the ILs they all kept trying to guess...BIL was like is it traditional or more trendy? And I answered his question saying something like "I'll just say it's a real name, not something made up like Braelynn" (randomly said that name bc I hate it) and my MIL got all bothered because it's her best friends daughters name... Starts defending Braelynn and saying they didn't make it up they named her after some golf course in Georgia and how it has sentimental value and all this stuff... Hahahaha so awkward... Of all the youneek names I could have thrown out... Foot in mouth!! Hahaha/ oh Braelynn

Well, sentimental value or not, I think naming your kid after a golf course is also pretty weird.

Braelynn is a bad name regardless, and why would you name your kid after a golf course? Thankfully my brother and his wife didn't go that route, since their favorite course is Congressional.
