What say you on Nicholas?

We have a Jonas, and there just arent any fun nicknames for Jonas.

We're now considering Nicholas. Yes, I think it's a little boring, but there are so many fun nicknames for it!

Not that I am allowing the bump to name my baby, but I am curious as to others thoughts.

Name would be Nicholas Brooks H-- (ends in ER)

The other option is August Brooks but I simply can't move past those 2 together, for some reason and DH is practically begging me to keep Brooks.

I think I prefer Nicholas with Brooks instead of August. It's a nice name.

I like classic boy names, and Nicholas fits very well in that category. Easy to pronounce, spelled nicely, and it flows nicely with your middle name choice.

I love Nicholas. I don't really care for August. I think Nicholas Brooks is great and I wouldn't worry about it being a Christmas baby.

Nicholas! August Brooks sounds like a clothing company to me. I really dislike it. Nicholas Brooks is great, though!

I like Nicholas, but what about Dominic? Some similar nn options, but not as popular. Also sounds good with Brooks.

Congrats! I also have a Christmas baby.. Well, close enough. 12/23/13. I think Nicholas is a great name! I wouldn't worry about him being born at Christmas.
