Newbie Intro =) (Warning, sortof a novel length!)

Hi all!
My name is Johanna, and I am new to TTC, and community forums in general so I'm trying to learn really fast! (I read the newbie blogs and links and such already, trying to memorize all the acronyms and forum terms.) I am so excited to be a part of this community! My hubby (DH, right?) have been together since high school sweeties 10 years ago, and this September will be 5 years married, yay! We've finally made the decision we want to have a baby, and it's been a long and nerve racking decision.
Now that we're here, I'm super nervous and in learning mode and want to learn as much as I can from all of you lovely ladies. I'm 28, and really worried about fertility and risks during pregnancy. We are both finishing our masters degrees in secondary education December 2015, and want to start trying summer 2015, which means if it's easy peasy our first baby will be born when I'm 30, and we want two babies. Of course everything I read makes it sound like it's not going to be for me at 29. Also, we're super excited about having a natural at home birth with a CNM and doula (still researching that too).
Anywho, that's a little about us and our world. If you're still with me, thanks for reading! I am so excited to get to learn and meet and support all of you through your baby journeys as well!

Also, unless you have preexisting issues, there's no reason to think that pregnancy couldn't happen pretty easily at 29. It's not considered AMA until you're 35. That's not to say it will or won't happen when you start trying, or even that you won't have any trouble, but there's no reason to think that just 'being 29' is going to be an issue.

9/30/14--Off the bench! Unmedicated TI through December 2014

U/S #1, 12/23: gestational sac, possible heartbeat
U/S #2, 12/30: HEARTBEAT! 128bpm, measuring right on at 7w EDD: 8/19/2015
U/S #3, 1/9: BPM in the 180s, IT'S HAPPENING!!!
